They were the first TV couple to behave like that. All the ones before them were barely shown holding hands or even saying I love you. Beaver's parents slept in separate beds. These two were the first ones to act like they were actually a couple who were in love. I hope for everyone to experience this kind of connection.

Yep, she was the most gorgeous Morticia ever. She was known already for being beautiful before this and I think they picked her specifically because they wanted the character to be hauntingly beautiful vs the cartoon version which always goes for weird looking and somewhat creepy.

Yes, I honestly dunno why the movies and follow up series became all about Wednesday and her evilness. In this series, Wednesday is the most normal, sweetest character in the family imo

With all the movies, remakes, and such, it's so hard to believe the show only went two seasons. Such a Classic! P. S. Were people stupider back then? 🤗😅

@@Nick-fh5pk in some ways yes hahaha this show by rights should have gone on for years. But I think it was a teeny bit ahead of it's time. If it had hit right after all of the black magic, satanic, witchcraft craze, maybe right after black sabbath became big, it probably would have been on longer. But I adore this show none the less because it taught you to not judge by appearance and that a little weird is usually pretty awesome. AND as I said in a different comment. They were then first TV couple to actually act like they were in love and yknow, had the ability to make two children.

I'm sure Thing has a body. We just never see it. He probably lives under the house and probably is quite large, or at least has very long arms.

@@chumon1992 That's exactly what I've always pictured, I always pictured him being sorta a "blob" creature of sorts.

In the early 1970s I watched Addams Family on TV. Thing was a hand that crept out of a box there.

I always figured she was freaking out about Gomez's hand around her waist, thinking it was Thing.

I think the show kinda implied that Thing was attached to a body of some kind, we just never saw it.

I guess she didn’t even think about that in the moment. As you see, she asked Thing to pass her the shears and she thought he did and suddenly someone touches her waist like that. I mean, obviously she got a little scared

Also we dont know if Thing has a body or not as we never see one way or the other. For all we know he jsut lives under the house and has really long arms lol
