It’s not. Unfortunately the church is made up of sinful humans like everywhere else and some of our institutions have accepted government funding and are legally bound to perform unholy procedures. The vast majority of SDAs are against this but there is not much we can do. Those compromising for money will answer to God.

1844 was a group of all sorts of denominations research the great awakening. Also everyone through Bible history awaiting Messiah have technically been Adventists. (Believing in the Advent of the Promised one) and in our day we believe in His second Advent. Which is all believers.. Well if you had read revelation 19:10 it says the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

​@@PeregrineFisherand I would only add to that that it is very possible the gift of prophecy is a continual gift til the end of time and that all who seem to be gifted with the spirit of prophecy should be tested whether or not it is a counterfeit and there are several bible tests to use during investigation one being Isaiah 820 to the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. So the prophetic gift should be alive and well among God's children along with all the other gifts til the last day.

Then how did God determine that Satan was a sinner if there was no 10 Commandments. Even the Angels kept the laws of God, as God is the very essence of the 10 Commandments and wants us to be also. The Mosiac Law was nailed to the cross, not the 10 Commadments. Please read your Bible without bias and maybe you will get it straight.
