The Adventures of Lariat Sam - Horse Opera Hoax 

Dayton Allen did all the voices in this cartoon. He also did all the voices in Deputy Dawg. (Doesn't J.Skulking Bushwhack sound a little like Vincent Van Gopher?)

I haven't seen "Lariat Sam" since I was a little kid (which was quite a number of years ago)! It was a segment on Captain Kangaroo. Also, Gene Wood, who was better know as a game show announcer, helped in creating and voicing "Lariat Sam" (he even sang the opening theme song!).

Hahahahahahaha the humour is amazing. 'Don't worry I rehearsed the cattle'!

Tippy Toes may have been the inspiration for Mr. Ed.

Originally seen as a five part serialized story on "CAPTAIN KANGAROO" (in black and white) in 1962.
