Gerald Mohr starred in The Adventures of Philip Marlowe in the late 40's and early 50's. He did a great job in the role of Marlowe. This episode, The Eager Witness, was originally aired on August 27, 1949.
Thanks for posting this. Half an hour very well spent, and I really like the way Capelarry phrases appreciation - says it better than I could. Pleasure to subscribe to your channel :)
BEST RADIO QUALITY I HAVE HEARD yet. Great download. Thanks for the attention VistaRecordBoard. It would be even better if more images were shown during the playing of the clip. But you definitely have more than others that's for sure. Cheers.
This aired on CBS' Saturday night schedule at 8:30pm(et). The name of the judge at the beginning, "Albert Winston" [1:08], was also used by co-author Gene Levitt in one of his "MOLLE MYSTERY THEATER" scripts the previous season (Everett Sloane played that character).
(Fri. Nite) 9/23/16 AT THE END OF THE ___STORY___ : THEY : should have played out the whole court scene ! ! ! ! It really would have made the story much better sending a murderer to the electric chair !
