He's an inspiration to indians who don't qualify to join IITs(the best institutes in india) and yet he moved forward and became someone who many IITians dream of
@@tenminutetokyo2643 stealing your jobs???? We people don't steal it . We are wanted and paid more to go there beacuse most of the youth in your country is graduating with a useless liberal arts degree.
He is a prime example of how far you can go with hard work and dedication. He wasn't the smartest, and didn't go to the best universities, but his dedication and hard-work propelled him to the top of Microsoft
Your university doesn't have anything to do with intellect. Steve jobs, Michael Dell, Larry Ellison, etc were college dropouts. They weren't from prestigious universities but students from prestigious universities work for them
3:10 He says "Now you're father is still alive, (yes) and he must be very proud of what you've achieved" don't twist it to make him look bad, we don't do that. He said that as a matter of fact it wasn't a question although Satya bothered with a yes.
Lucifer Morningstar you're right. It could be an assertion instead of a question. I hadn't heard the "now" before. Regardless, it's a tad bit impolite to assert that someone's father is still alive.
@@rishipalbhatia Indian's in general go to extreme lengths and do stuff to make their parents happy - good grades, trying for a government job, gaining societal respect, get married to a person of their liking, have kids, always ask for their input, account their liking etc .. and Satya especially talks about his dad a lot even when he has talks in India or abroad so I think the interviewer might have followed up on his pattern and put that assertion. Although I agree it would have been super awkward and impolite in any other case. Here it's more like he is subliminally asking Satya does your dad actually know of your success and how truly significant you are to the world ? by saying your "dad must be proud"
@@oneforallah it's not considered as a healthy thing to say that ," now, your father is still alive......" in our country. It's considered as bad manners. It comes across as very rude. Yeah we do go to extreme lengths to please our parents and that sucks😂😭😭
@@777ter You hater ! Persians exist , just like Assyrians from Iraq, Nabateans in Jordan. By that logic India didn't exist way back then. India was formed after the British left India and princely states unified as a country !
EVERY FAMILY HAS SOMEONE WHO BREAKS THE CHAIN OF POVERTY IN THAT FAMILY,I PRAY YOU BE THE ONE, KEEP INVESTING! AND REINVESTING!! UNTILL IT BECOMES A CULTURE!!!
Oh Christ, fellow Indians here stop debating about India here. He said central India or this or that. Celebrate this man for who he is and how he is now.
Especially all those who doesn't belong to my State.. when we don't have problem why do they have it.. we r ofcourse central part of India as state got bifurcated..
the self-acceptance he has, love it. Satya Nadella can clearly define himself, distinguish himself from others. this is 'what's lacking' in today society where people tend to impersonate other and can't see their own value.
He really is a professional I lost £1200 carelessly trading on a platform then I was referred to expert Jay Pelle FX he recovered the loss and made an extra profit of £7600
Many see forex as a get rich scheme but forex is not like that, it's a gradual process with the right tools and application you can make a living from forex trading..
Trade with an expert else you will lose all your capital and you will drop off the market The importance of professional mentorship of an expert should be the first step of trading
@@vikashkumarbarnwal4233 toughest only because of the mass illeterate poor and shitty students of India try of this exam A IIT Bombay btech CS student never tries for this shit exam
@@2487xyz well, obviously it seems like so. Btw, its not very surprising. He is a smart man, and learning a map doesn't really make any one that smart.
Bleed Blaugranes don't read too much into the words selected. He mentioned Hyderabad and India. Just be proud that someone from among us is sitting there. Let's be sane and not mud slug people for saying as something this small as a mistake.
Omg, David, learn something about your opponent before the show. Secondly, there are tons of other interesting questions you should have asked Satya, the greatest mind of our time.
A conman. Gorbachev started globalization. Without American companies, none of you eastern losers would even have jobs. And tell Putin to pay back $150 billion Russia borrowed from USA in 1998 and never paid back to date.
The comment section is everything opposite of what is right with this guy. Come on! This guy is representing whole India by holding CEO position in *Microsoft* and all your mind can focus is on the pecky small details. Curb your narrow mind.
This guy is representing India? How? Does he dress like Indians do? Does he speak like Indians do? Does he have an Indian accent? There is not a shred of Indianness in him. Either you can be a proud Indian or a bhim rao ambedkar/satya nadela.
@karma tam my point was that he is representative of himself. Is Bill Gates representative of the US? Is Elon Musk representative of South Africa? Is Jack Ma representing China?
Rubenstein is so arrogant! He seemed so rude too the way he asked if satyas dad is still alive. Kudos to satay for maintaining his cheerful and humble demeanor
Hard work and work ethics never fail. Do you best ethically and success will open doors for you. Success is not measured in $$ but measured in terms of happiness. After all we want happiness and i am glad Nadella is happy with his work.
these days peopel find mistakes more than positives and inspiration. Good luck satya. Aim more & Achieve more. who knows u might have still a company to be found by urself and make an Ample out of it to give to world

@@vachmagandikota7300 It means that his father wants him to do government job. Because in India govt jobs are quite relaxing and permanent, so every parent's wish that their child should do government job. (BTW it's just a common saying or maybe meme).
I am from the same area where he is born. The way I see it is we are all Indians in the end and human beings first. Stop making it a thing of which part your from determines who you will be. Success comes from all areas in the world. so don't let a place you come from determine your future.
Successfull people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance-wealth, a great career, purpose-is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life..
This host needs to be schooled in the art of social graces. I am surprised somebody would give him a job or any job for that matter, he is completely tactless and lacking any sense of empathy and feeling for the guest's feelings
