Did you know that the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) is working tirelessly to influence policy and ensure the concerns and needs of the Ukrainian community are heard at all levels of government? Our representatives meet with Canadian government officials and politicians of all levels to discuss important issues, and advocate for policies that support Ukraine and represent the interests of Ukrainian-Canadians.
The UCC plays a crucial role in informing and advising committees of the Parliament of Canada. Most recently the House of Commons Standing Committees on:
• Foreign Affairs and International Development
• National Defence
• International Trade
We must keep up our advocacy work to ensure that the voice of the Ukrainian Canadian community is heard. We must ensure that the Government of Canada continues its strong, principled support of Ukraine.
Our goal is to raise $25,000. We are asking for non-tax-receipted gifts of $25 or more. We are 40% there and with the support of our many friends, we know we can make it
