In 96 I got to see Afghan Whigs open for Jewel and Neil Young. The Whigs brought the house down. They were a tough act to follow. I went to that show just to see them. They blew everyone off that stage.
Saw this band back in the day, then Twilight Singers, et al. Greg looks like he did in 1994--just a bit older. Glad he got off the shit! Loves these guys!

He seems to have lost weight. Yet in more recent video. He has gained it baxk. Yes. The sound lags cause of recording. It's like a octave lower. Still. They rock. Miss the original drummer though. He was very good.
Did you actually watch the video or just listen to the sound? Greg has dropped a lot of weight. Plus the man has given up smoking (great call, voice wise).
this crowd is like...who da fuq es deese gize?!?! No laptops, sampling, drum triggers...que esta? They don't get the Whigs man! On another note, is it just me or does that popping sound drive you nuts?
You originally said: "Boy calm down, just jokin. I could n't give two fucks about Greg's weight. I'm a fan since the early '90's, so go somewhere else.." Been a fan since the early 90's as well. You changed your comment and replied twice within the same day. Tell me, sir, who needs to calm down ?
Even with the " drag" on the sound. Gentleman is so so rocking. Although. The original drummer did the transition to the slow part better. Great song. Great sexually dripping lyrics. " she was the perfect fit " indeed. I'd stay in too long. Oh. that drummer. He slows down so drastically b4 sweet solo. Still. Bitchin.
click click click; thats what i hear now. I don't like the recording. click click click, I don't know how to describe that noise. A great band done an injustice!
