Ah everyone had such moments maybe not to such a degree but nontheless. I warped my tengu straight into a friendly neutbomb not even a week ago and died about 20 sec later due to it.
I feel your pain, Bjorn! I once probed down a combat logged Oneiros with my Rapier. He logged back in while I was chipping away his armour buffer- and he scrammed and killed me with drones. :(
Yeah, it's Eve Online! It's got a free to play part to it now, called Alpha Clones. I often take brand new players out on big fleets and we get into all sorts of fights. You're more than welcome to join us if you decide to give Eve a shot :) There's really no game like it out there.
Hey Bjorn! This was really good. The feeling of landing right next to him at the first MJD attempt must have felt awesome and was worth everything. The whole act was like watching somebody trying to open a tin can with a tooth pick. But its so intense cause you almost got it done! More of this man. Love your vids! :P
Glad you enjoyed it :D I like the metaphor you used to describe this scenario, because you're right, this definitely wasn't the right tool for the job xD This particular fit is actually really fun in Lowsec where you can just dock up and rep up after every engagement.
Ah, I remember one time our FC "slightly" mistaked system names and sent scout in one system and fleet jumped to other. That 30 seconds in jump cloak when we have seen what waited us behind the gate were almost same in intensity as this ishtar incident. I know how it feels :)
