For decades Ralph E. Hunter, Sr. collected African American art and memorabilia until friends began affectionately referring to his home as “The Museum.” In 2002, his first actual museum opened in Buena Vista Township, NJ. The second location opened In 2013 in Atlantic City, NJ as the anchor for the Noyes Arts Garage, owned by Stockton University. Experience a few of his amazing treasures and see why he was asked to be a consultant for the critically acclaimed HBO series Boardwalk Empire.

I love AC use to live there right after HS for a spell (employed with the boardwalk regency casino later Trumps Taj Mahal) I from the Jersey shore Asbury Park area loved the spirit hanging out inside famed club Harlem on Kentucky Ave thinking of the great jazz musicians etc who passed through there running the boardwalk and sand swimming in the ocean all training before heading west to L A to go to college play football and run track at USC and play drums all over the city and become a Hollywood star well I did a little of that it's nice to know at 63yrs old that Atlantic City still stands ! Thank you for the video I've only heard stories from my relatives about the old AC days will visit when I return home soon I hope!
