Seeing your interview(s) have put SA on my list, near the top. Some of the major things I’m looking for is the infrastructure, cost of living, ability for potential dual citizenship, and an outlet to the sea (for business and security issues). Great content. I remember around 1986, I was about 10 years old. At the time living under apartheid, I thought black Americans were living without discrimination in US. I became aware of racism when Rodney King was beaten by white US policemen I think in 1991.

Sphamandla Mdluli:(Racism )Segregation was legal for a long time in the US. It was abolished in 1964 under the Civil Rights Act. Racial Discrimination was pervasive in the Southern States. Racism has been resurrected to another level since Donald Trump came into office. Too many police shootings of unarmed African Americans. Look on RU-vid for “Kareen Videos” where Whites calling police on African Americans for stupidness.

Wow! That passive aggressive toxic masculinity comment by the interviewer about being a man was straight BS. I am a same gender loving black man who at one point was in a heterosexual marriage that produced amazing children. I AM A MAN! I am a BLACK COLLEGE EDUCATED, PROFESSIONAL MAN who happens to be homosexual. And this Black man has done what many other "straight men" won't do. I have set an example and sent all of my children to college, both of my sons were scholar athletes who played football and received ACADEMIC scholarships. I have fostered black children that some other "Heterosexual" man procreated but would not raise. This homosexual man is respected by his heterosexual sons and community. So please stop projecting your insecurity around your sexuality/masculinity, under the guise of being a "real man". A real man doesn't need to bring down another man to make himself feel like a man. Mark, I just started following you and LaTasha's channel and find it informative. I plan to move to SA in the near future and hope to become a part of the Black Expat network your videos represent. I hope you do not share the same bigoted views of the interviewer. As oppressed black men in the US, he should have more self-evolution and know better

S.A. Does not discriminate against homosexuality. Please do come. It's probably the only country in Africa that has legalized same-sex marriage. There are a few people who will discriminate against you the same as in any country but please know that the majority of South Africans look at the person and will judge you accordingly and not you're sexual preference. I definitely hear the tone of the host in this video and I really don't appreciate it either. I wish people didn't mistreat others like that.
