As I was walking out of the theater after seeing “Fences”, I heard an older black woman speaking to a couple women with her, saying, “that’s how it is, WE always have to clean up THEIR mess and hold things together”, smh. I’ll never forget how that moment put a bow on that movie experience and made me realize just how poisonous movies can be.

This was a excellent stream I saw movie for the second time and have another deeper understanding of it & the people in it, excellent review from the panelists.
"I" thought it would be a good idea to take my adopted brother to see this. He agreed intially, but fronted to be with kids his own age. I was 53 he was 22 years old. In the meantime my father and hadnt spoke in 7 years, because of a very bad fight him and i had. We almost tried to kill each other. We got good before he died.ñ thank God.
