I don't really ship them. I put platonic because they aren't really together. If you don't know, platonic means a relationship with no intimate and sexual interactions towards both parties. It's basically like a closer friendship with each other. They also don't hate each other in my AU and it isn't toxic. Edit: I must add that it wasn't actually nightmare that killed him, it was his brother. C.C was just stuck in an endless loop until he died. You probably already knew this, but I wanted to add this since you put "he literally killed him" into your comment.
