It's called being genuine and honest. I would rather listen to someone who speaks the truth, even if it's against himself and his own people, than someone who lies and paints himself and his own people as perfect. That's disingenuous. Would you rather he was biased? Also, as he mentioned, this increases faith in our Prophet PBUH even more, as he told us 1500 years ago, that this would happen.

Would you test your children ,and if they didn't pass put, there heads in the gas oven. particularly if you knew the result beforehand. If there is a good and merciful God he would not allow Hell to exist. He would certainly not purposely create people to end up in it. A good God would not care whether we believe in him or not. He would not need worship. He would not need to test anyone. We would be rewarded by the measure of us as people and how good and kind we were to each other.
