@@Odin3vin the meanwhile the new Arch Enemy stuff has clean vocals and stuff starting to lean to the metalcore side of things. Alissa her influence seemingly? Still want a duet with Tati.
She is very talented in Metal, One of the best I've followed. You should check her Arch Enemy videos out and new Kamelot, Liar Liar and Revolution, You can't listen once to like them.
Steven Bellm she is still with Kamelot, she toured with Kamelot this year 2016 in Souh America and Europe but not all year, because of AE tour concerts, and she did three songs on Kamelot's new Album. came out 2015.Liar Liar, Revolution, and can't remember the 3rd. . Clean vocals and Dirty, growling too. she is staying in Kamelot just not all the time. The Kamelot vids are on youtube and doing great. she's Amazing and very active..lol
Listen to Arch Enemy's "Avalanche" on the choruses and "You Will Know My Name" just on the break after the first chorus, very carefully. I think it's becoming a thing for both Alissa (and Angela in "Through the Eyes of a Raven" and "Under Black Flags We March", among other Khaos Legions tracks?) to secretly do clean harmonic singing and put it in the background. ;)
+Elaini How are all phobias irrational? Are you telling me that being scared of a spider that can make your flesh rot and fall off is irrational? Only thing that's irrational is that logic.
2:35 i could listen to this minute forever - so perfect - vocals, drums, everything i hope she returns to partially clean vocals - i miss that in her arch enemy part
This is hands down the best performance Alissa has on video that I have seen. Her knife switch change from growl to clean is amazing . Plus this video is very well shot and edited.
I.. can't.. STOP.. listening to this song!! her voice is so captivating in every way.Alissa is a total icon and not to mention drop dead beautiful!!😍😍 ayyye.. be still, my heart❤!
This has got to be my personal most played song on RU-vid since I started using it two years ago. I've hit it almost every day and some days multiple times. Love it, she amazes me.
This song is perfection. The Agonist with Alissa was my introduction to heavy metal with consistent growls. Sad to hear how things panned out with them and Alissa.
Rob L well then its her problem that she decided to go for AE when she had The agonist. It is thanks to them she got where she is now and they had every right to kick her out. that's my opinion anyway.
whom ever of you guys that write the music kick ass. totally some of the best. tight! I'm into guitar soloist but you guys makes me want to jump in mosh kick ass all in funn you guys are great. Drummer is a machine
hopefully better song writing...I've always hated that Arch Enemy did those lighter choruses. Its not that I think bands can't do stuff like that, I just think they suck at moving from the heavier to lighter bits. Its always such a buzz kill when those lighter parts kick in.
Hastein45 Her growls are fine. It's her cleans that I'm worried she'll bring into Arch Enemy. I just heard a new AE song and it was very good with her. I think she sounds better in AE than The Agonist, but if cleans happen, they will lose lots of fans I think.
I love this woman for picking metal to sing for, the band is awesome , it does my heart good to see beautiful women who stray from the supposed popular, and make a stand for metal and thrive , I can't say enough. 😎😁👍👌
I don't care what others say for me personally you are the most beautiful voice I don't say the demented physical aspect that leaves me speechless...I've been your fan since you sang my favorite song Panophobia...
DavaidD I love love that War Eternal Album.and Arch enemy has another brutal one cooking!, Also I can't wait to hear her clean vocals on the 'Alissa' Album, I just starting following Alissa 2 years ago, I seen her in Kamelot, then Agonist and Arch Enemy, never knew her before and got a shock by her past performances.
I come here after listen "the moment" the last single of the agonist. I really miss this style, I will always be fan of this guys with alissa making disorder and creativity.
well you can't compare... that was with Alissa, now the Agonist is with Vicky. Vicky shouldn't be in Alissa's shadows. The guys have matured and I live each of their albums because it sounds different.
That is exactly that I'm saying with Vicky are a different band, they aren't the same like with Alissa, but they are not bad actually, just they are not the same
we have to tell ourselves the chapter with Alissa is finished and this is a brand new chapter with Vicky now. I'm a person that accepts changes just like many other bands when they switched vocalists. I don't live in the past like some fans do unfortunately.
Only vaguely knew of this band until today, with the announcement of her being the new singer of Arch Enemy. Arch Enemy is one of my favorite bands, and has been for several years. I'm sad to see Angela go, but I think Alissa here will do a great job, Provided she doesn't do the clean vocals in AE, everything should be fine. Can't wait for the new album!
To be honest, the occasional bit of clean vocals wouldn't necessarily be a terrible thing. Just a few lines in a bridge or as a backing part could add a new depth and contrast to AE's new album. What's the point in change, if nothing changes? I'm not saying the singing should be clean the whole time, quite the opposite, but a little bit of variety in might add a new dimension to AE.
@djanelle207 I love Arch Enemy and have been a fan for over 12 years now and i know it's not their style to use clean vocals but i whould love to see some change since they now have a singer thats capable of it! Anyways Alissa is getting to use her clean vocals in diffrent projects as well! whould recomend checking them out!
