Do you have a working Silver Wolf Lily? I imagine you wanted to use as few limited units as possible for the showcase but she's a big Xueyi ally against that dinosaur, especially if the sustain and support also can contribute toughness damage.

@@ch1dd I did try Xueyi + Asta + Ting Xueyi + Asta + SW Xueyi + Ting + SW but couldnt finish the first half in 4 cycles 🤔 Need a second DPS to do that. Maybe bcz my Xueyi isn't that strong.

@@LilyAquina I don't remember your Xueyi build, is she super capped on Break Effect? Since that dino asks for crit while they're down that might be it. Not that there's anything wrong with using Ratio for the clear, but I think you know why I'm asking this by now.

March is a beast in this fight (and in general really), I pity the people who neglected her tbh. -90 pulls on their account getting double premium sustain.

​@@ch1dd I mean enemies do have freeze resistance so people want consistent sustain. I personally use Lynx on my other team so I only get 1 premium sustain

@@distritochristianangeloa.157 Her freezing usually isn't necessary, just a good addition. Until Aventurine today I didn't have any premium sustains, so it was a mix of march lynx natasha and bailu through the rotations. Knowing she'll get new features this year makes me pity them even more though.

Boothill is single target though, it's obviously not necessarily stopping him from performing well, but I wouldn't say the boss was designed for him since they do have anti-sinergy if you allow Aventurine to act

Boothill with Ruan Mei will probably be enough to blow up his break bar before he gets the dice out, like what Lily did on his second phase here

@@akirayuki6275That's the neat part, I'm pretty sure Boothill -> Bronya -> Boothill buffed by RM is enough to break his whole bar so the only time he will even get to use the dice is at the start of phase 2.

i belive he even missplay some breaks like Aventurine with Luka Skill instead of the upgrade Basic. So maybe he could beat a couple of turns early.

In my opinion, she wanted to keep the ult for the 2nd phase which will make this boss take action immediatly. It's was a better than waste it.

Tried Sushang + Luka and Luka + Misha but always finish with 19 cycles remaining. Aventurine's HP is ridiculous.

Ruan Mei is hard to replace on any comp. It can be done but this comp cannot be done with March and Kafka alone. You would need a harder carry like Jing Liu.

every time you attack you inflict a debuff. as long as you attack 6 times in one cycle (ults count) the debuff will max out and deal a lot of damage. then at the next cycle the debuffs are cleared and you repeat

Out of aventurine's weaknesses, physical is the strongest break and Luka triggers the bleed

You can only break with one unit at a time, what matters for the other units is depleting bars fast.

@@kurokamionce1802 It does, because the majority of the damage is coming from weakness break. That's what a break team is, having that as the dps focus. Against the dinosaur, it's important to also have constant damage because it barely takes damage while the toughness bar is active, so your entire window is when it's down. As the enemies evolve, so does the team composition.

@@ch1dd we all need to break the dinosaur to deal DMG to him, so all my teams are now break teams? That's all I'm saying also big part of that team DMG does come from Ratio so no break DMG. I'm just saying at this point every character counts as break team then.

Ratio is there exclusively because of the dinosaur, it's mechanic is that you deplete bar first, then deal damage while it's down, and it's hp accounts for all that without any boost to break units. Arguably a better Xueyi could deal with this because she deals damage outside of only breaking, different from the rest, but other than that it would take too many breaks to kill it in time because break damage is fixed. There's no gimmick to it: the elite's hp is higher than the sum of multiple breaks (and it takes very long to recover which also delays the team), because that's an enemy designed to impede bruteforcing and element-ignoring players, as well as preventing Acheron from steamrolling it. If you understand the enemy mechanics, the design and the game balance you know what you're saying doesn't stand, nor does it make this "not a break team"/"every other team is break". It's important to know the nuance of the game.
