Very happy this story and game is cathing more popularity as well as warning about AI today! Late 60s made short story done in one night, and Ellison knew the dangers of a sentient programmed computer. Impressive. Also this story REALLY leaves a mark. Seriously, the bad endings in the game got me tear jerking more than usual stricken of the hardcore reality of being a blob not capable of doing anything but lay there. The game had great voice acting and the MUSIC. holy crap, the bad ending music did not have me smiling. Always made me not want to do the ending. The lines Specifically Ellen and Ted as the soft jelly thing say got me crushed. They suffered so much and now as that entity, they NOW entered eternal Hell. Benny was not any better, his voice speaks only broken and tearful defeat. He sounds like he is crying. This game has it all. It can make you laugh, but also cry. Everything.
Whoa, never thought I'd see the day when someone made a relatively recent video on this. Honestly this game, and the book it was based on, is so niche that it helped me advance through college.
