California could soon have a new firefighting tool at its disposal.
It’s called the FYREBX. It’s patent pending and the very first production model was just completed this week.
It’s a skid steer attachment that holds 300 gallons of water.
For context, the Type III engines Cal OES uses for wildland fires carry 500 gallons total.
The smallest engines in the fleet, Type VI, carries the same amount as the FYREBX.
