I'm a 90s baby started buying sneakers in the mid 2010s. idk if that makes me a new or old sneakerhead. but this was a must. they sold out but people arent talking about them, but im glad I copped for retail. needed it in the collection.

I think people care but it’s just entirely too many releases to choose from especially at these price points. Gotta pick and choose.

The Jordan 12 cherry was my first pair of shoes that actually made me look and think this is amazing. It was over after that and what got me into sneakers. Then around 6 months later I saved up the 144$ and got the playoff 12’s. I was 13 yrs old and my parents thought I was crazy. Since then I’ve probably spent enough money to buy a couple houses. So when it was announced that the playoffs were coming out again I was off the wall. I feel like the release was watered down bc it was pushed back a couple times but ppl are crazy always talking about wanting a real OG and here it comes and we get crickets. Which is fine by me I was able to get one for the toe and another to put on ice. Now all I need is for Nike to release the cherrys and I’d be able to complete something I did 25 yrs ago.

The new sneaker heads just don't know. I'll take the Playoffs or Taxis over the Flu Games personally. That black, white contrast is just 🤌🏻

I was at Lenox Nike last Saturday easy cop. South Dekalb Jimmy Jazz had them sitting on shelves. It’s crazy because JORDAN actually wore these. The playoff 12 is a classic. Hype is destroying the sneaker community and it’s actually really sad. Sucks the fun out of shoes in my opinion.

I disagree because all the OGs heads from sandersville to milledgeville to macon to southlake mall to south dekalb to lenox to perimeter. Picked up pairs & on leftover day OGs heads were in stonecrest bright & ealy double & tripling up. Not a typical reseller in sight.

The Jordan company be messing up when they push the dates back then it messes up the momentum of the shoe release

Just buy what you like. I sold probably 10 pair of playoff 12s the day of the release and still have folks looking for pairs.

I'm 42 yrs old now..and I just worry about getting mostly the OG colorways..unless I really like a new color out. I got a house ..truck..and bills to pay now lol..

I agree I guess I am an OG I worked at foot action when this silhouette 1st released and I had every colorway I rocked them all at work I've never purchased a restock on this Jordan 12 But I am happy to have made this purchase on this shoe and I will wait for the release of each color way OG that is to add back into my collection.

I think most of the new sneaker heads are to young to remember the classics . I got shadow 1s, toro 5s and mocha 3s all for retail the classic go up in value over time but when we get a new “Travis , off white , union “ collab ever couple of weeks it’s easy to forgot about the OGs

I used to have a pair of Jordan 12 Flu Games, OG from 97. I wore them to my school dance then I sold them for $150 a year before the hype for older sneakers came in. I really regret selling them because I'd be rocking them to this day if I wasn't after the money when I was younger.

But when Michael Jordan won that playoff game against the Utah Jazz with the game winning shot that moment was unforgettable and this shoe commemorates that. If its breaking even or just over retail on resell if its not a callab basically its come to tht point if it not a callab. The shoe basically falls into the category of eh.. avg. Nah I been into kicks since the early 90s. Blame the eliteism of stock, resell, failed opportunities on SNKRS and other sneaker platform store apps. No FCFS much anymore so everything is hyped and resell. Luck dunks werent even a hot thing when i was in middle school nobody wanted them but now everyone even granny got a dunk. Its wild how we hyped the sneakers up that had no real attention sndnnow the ones that did have attention are even more covicited.

I can see these being worth more than double in a year. If they are just stored away. I have them. And they are amazing. I had the original white and red ones. And these 2022 are near the same quality.
