You know P is watching proud of Al really coming out his shell as a lyricist again which was his roots. Feels like another part of the Mobb Deep legacy being kept alive
AL is one of the greatest producers of all time but man is he such an underrated MC. We need a full album of him rapping, we need another Gangrene album, and we need another Step Brothers album!!!
Nah bro uncle al is the best producer of all time uno uncles 🔥🔥🔥when he’s been past from generation to generation keep doing ya thing unc looking forward to work with u one day keep a 👀 out💪🏼🙏🏼💯
That Alchemist verse was next level, I didn't know he could spit like that sounding better than 95 percent of the industry. and Gangrene too fucking crazy
As beatmakers these dudes have no business being that good on the mic.Alchemist was so good I was thinking OhNo was going to have a problem and he brought a whole new fuckin program.
Yo ALC, there is you, EV and Oh No, three producers and three MCs at the same f*cking time, we need to hear y'all use your finger drummin', sample snatching, verbal showdown techniques on a collaborative album. If someone can make it happen, it's you ! You already have StepBrothers, it's time to level up and become the StepFathers of this hip-hop game ! Peace from Romania !
A Midas touch that crafts a sensational beat. Listen to the component that make up the product, with the infectious bars from Him & Gangrene- Brilliance!!!
I appreciate how many of you commenters praise Al's mc skills, but the real bad mf on this one is Oh No. The way this man flows is supreme. The tone of his voice, and his timing are special to me.
Gangrene raps so effortlessly. Rollin' in foreigns and flooring ya, when I'm cooking I bring the best to a boil. Such smooth delivery and saying a lot with very little. I knew Al can rap but this shit is insane, seriously reminding me of so many NY MCs. A lot of people are saying Prodigy and I hear that but I feel like throughout the album I hear a lot of Kool G like lines and MF DOOM like flows. Often Al is off beat but rapping double time to stay on beat. Changing your tempo like that is something people just don't do nowadays. I think that influence has to be from Earl since he worked with him often. Earl is a master of that style.
Man.. y'all keep doing dope stuff! I like the drone shots and how it goes with the constant piano/violin.. It's like the modern day Flight Of The Bumblebee! Of course AL bringin the crazy raps as usual! 🔥
