Praia da Amoreira is a natural and as yet unspoilt sandy beach about 7kms from the little town of Aljezur in the Western Algarve. It’s popular with surfers, fishermen and those who just want to escape from the rat race of mass tourism and concrete highrise. There are no shops or concession areas so you will need to bring your own parasols, beach chairs and windbreaks if required. The only toilets available are at the restaurant.

I've been there twice in 2012 and 2014 . Really amazing and contemplative place. Great beach, fresh (cold?) water, slightly dangerous surf. Odeceixe is a comparable coast.

Agora imagina como esta praia era há uns bons 30 anos ( quando a conheci nem sequer havia sinais de como lá chegar) ! Continua um espectáculo não há dúvida! Nesse aspecto temos que dar os parabéns a nós mesmos por termos conseguido conserva-la assim ! Uma das mais bonitas praias de Portugal

Agora de certeza já não era o que é. Á mais de 30 anos quando ia para lá a estrada não era alcatroada e ninguém conhecia nem aventurava-se a ir pelas aquelas estradas em que praticamente só quem tinha um jipe é que se aventurava não foi o meu caso que me aventurei com um simples Opel mas não me arrependo se fosse hoje tornava a fazer o mesmo. Em pleno Agosto estava 15 a 20 pessoas na praia durante dia. Nas dunas fiz campismo selvagem e ia muitas vezes para Lagos à noite (+ - ) 30 km e quando vinha de Lagos era madrugada. SAUDADES.

Praia Monte Clerigo. Mein Lieblingsstrand an der Algarve. Und für den kleinen und grossen Appetit gibts imer was leckeres in der Snack Bar " a Rede" oder nebenan im Restaurante Ze . Wenn Wetter mitspielt, einfach perfekt. Whirlpool Wellen und die sauberste Luft mit extrem Sauerstoff. Da braucht man keine Wellness- Oase, das ist Erholung pur..

Wiesooo Praia Monte Clerigo? Dass Video zeigt doch wohl eindeutig Praia da Amoreira. Dürfte wohl eine astreine Verwechselung sein. Zur Kenntnis, es gibt seit einigen Jahren auch ein Aerial view Video von Helder Afonso vom Praia Monte Clerigo.

One of the most beautiful beach in Europe, it's a SHAME that there are a lot of dogs there, running free, disturbing everyone, shitting on the beach. A shame that the police/the city of Aljezur don t do anything to keep this beach beautiful.
