This guy is the most awesome salesman, I’m not even in the market for a trailer I just enjoy listening to how knowledgeable and honest this man is.

If I were Airstream, I’d use the video to make a list of product improvements. He describes every tiny nuisance with perfect clarity.

I been looking at rv channels for years now and this man in 10 mins have given me more important information than all of the videos I have watched. I had to stop the video to write this. This man needs his own channel and needs to run for president.

I've watched several videos from this guy and he gives the most comprehensive and informative walkthrough of any dealer I've watched (and I watch a lot of these types of videos).

Rub a white candle on the window gasket to stop if from sticking, works like a charm, and no mess.

I would keep his video just as a backup reference to make sure I don’t forget anything to do while traveling and maintaining maintenance on this trailer, such a valuable video.

Pantry: “I do recommend that you put the heavy stuff on the bottom, it’s going to fall there anyway so…” LOL! An honest man is hard to find. 🤣 Edit. You might want to also mention that people who spend a lot of time on a laptop that that table being adjustable height can make all the difference in the world as it can be lowered an inch or so for a better typing height. Sounds minor, but it can make all the difference in the world!

If I can add a testament to how well Chris Walters explains it all in these videos, I have severe ADHD and can hardly sit through some of those 6 second videos we have these days. I watched this video end to end!! Well done, and I'm totally in love with this trailer!!

This gentleman should do a RU-vid channel just explaining how complex products work. I have seen no one speak so clearly, so quickly, without without useless chat. I hope Airstream of DFW realizes the gem they have. Not everyone can do this. GREAT JOB

Being a vintage RV'er is apparently complicated AF!!!! Not worth it to me, but I know there are some that love this lol.

All the people saying what a great salesman this guy is are blowing my mind. When you’re attempting to sell something you do not tell prospective buyers every little thing that can go wrong. I love RVs. I grew up vacationing in them every summer and his presentation makes me run in the opposite direction. The number of times he says something might “shatter” is staggering. His specific pointing out of how flimsy the awning is is comical. When you’re trying to sell something barely big enough to turn around in that probably approaches $40,000 this is NOT the guy you want on the front lines. He needs to be in the shop working on all the flimsy things when they actually break. If this is who you have on your sales floor I do not understand how you’re in business. Apologies for the brutal honesty, but good lord. You need it.

That canopy retraction is awkward and difficult. Is that the best they can do for how much they charge for these? They are not cheap so that is unacceptable.

Around 7:50, makes sense to fill black tank full and let gravity rinse, add back water and the chemical and in-between dumps it will scour the walls when towing, you'll have the cleanest tank in the campground.

He is thorough; however, I am underwhelmed that such a high-end camper can have so much manual equipment on it. You can buy equal or less expensive quality campers that are much more user friendly. Besides the manual jacks and awning, why would you want the low-pressure propane connector on the back side of the camper? In the wind, I can pull my awning in to about 4' from the inside to keep my lawn chairs covered a bit and tolerate the wind well. Even the toilet is low end. (This might be a budget model as I am not an Air Stream expert.)

This is the very first video I’ve ever watched from AS DFW and I don’t know if this guy is a salesman, a service manager, or whatever but I absolutely love that he isn’t just trying to blow unicorns and rainbows up our asses. He points out where the weak points are and where consumers screw up. I’d follow him around a lot and trust what he has to say.

Weird question but why would the black tank be 100% full in the dealership?

This particular vehicle or camping module, according to me needs a little training at least for half of a day for a novice to understand it, and to grow sick with the user manual, but this Gentleman in a 30mins video had explained it all, till the servicing,. Anyway nice product but, what kind of vehicle is it required to tow it???

I know Airstreams are supposed to be higher quality, but man, they seem like they are lacking every single standard amenity that most modern campers offer. That awing seems like it would be useless unless it was perfect weather.

So he doesn’t even show the shower, just the glass shower door to which he says it may shatter if you allow it to slam shut. Why would any manufacturer put a glass door in something that is going to bounce around a lot?

This d*** trailer costs more than a house. Why on God's Earth does it not have an electric awning like my 19k trailer???

Does airstream have any comment on the serious quality control issues & complaints people/owners have made: Busted rivets, appliances leaking, fixtures coming loose, etc. Have these issues been addressed? For a product with a huge price tag, hearing the quality control issues is disappointing and discouraging to put politely.

Too technical. Started out describing problems with windows and power breakers. Not a good start. Then problems with masty tasting water. These things are should be later with new customer orientation, not as a initial presentation.

This man is monotones but he is a plethora of information. I like this guy, if I buy arrows through what I plan on I want this guy going with me for the first time show me how everything works. With a beer in his hand. His detail is excellent. Joe Biden needs to take lessons from this guy how to speak, can you imagine Joe Biden saying one sentence without having a monitor in front of him and earpiece with someone’s telling him what to say.

Idk a lot of the technology here is completely outdated and low tech. Today modern people can replace that technology with one device. Save money by adding only the necessary.

None of the charm of the old Airstreams, they should be half the price and sold at Walmart.

Claustrophobic... expensive... complex... Has some nice features that all trailers should have, but has some features that NO trailer should have. Well built? Yes. Practical? Yes. Plus, you can say "We have an Airstream" which will impress your friends and neighbors. However... it crosses that fine line between camper and prison cell. I just can't see traveling in that.

if American RV manufacturers switched to European windows, shades and awnings their RV's wouldn't have window problems, furthermore European versi0ns are double pane tempered; but not going to happen as it would kill the American window industry. It's a travesty that Airstream has such shite on the V's

-You spend 3 full minutes zoomed in on just the dometic controller -You don't show the bedroom until the last 45 seconds of a 30 min+ video -I still don't know what the shower looks like

Someone else said it, but that process of getting the awning out looks excruciating! I'm specifically talking about that part where you use the long tool to loosen at the beginning step. I do really like the detail in describing how to use all these components and the possible pitfalls with each. That said, very cool trailer.

That manual awning is ridiculous

If you listen closely and critically you hear him constantly pointing out all of the bad designs in that camper. Things that are weak and flimsy, things that will melt or break if you're not careful. An awning that'll snap in the slightest breeze, not strong enough to use when it's raining. For what they charge for those things they should be far better designed and built. People who buy these have way more money than common sense. Lots of people like that. Companies like Airstream can exist because of them.

For such an expensive trailer, I would expect to have power stabilizers and a better awning!
