I'm having troubles setting it up in Mixcraft, but your video is very informative and hopefully after re-watching it a couple of times I can translate it to work with my DAW!
Unfortunately I do not know Mixcraft. A few of my viewers mentioned it in the past. So maybe some of them are able to help. Fingers crossed 🤞that you can make it work. @w.a.production have a Discord. Maybe they can help you there?
Pleasure to watch and learn. Thank you for helping me to make a decision to consider this product. I just purchase a bundle from W.W.Prod but this plugin was not included. Not sure if this is a replacement for CHORDS+Notes or it is something else. If would be good to explain that...
Well my thoughts are that partition definitely needs a max of 16 instead of 8, for a 16th note arp it is now needed to double the speed and this will then half the bar lengths. It would also be nice if we could copy a chord, now it's only possible to copy the notes, please correct me if i am wrong and overlooked something. I think the workflow of this app could use improvements. however it's a nice tool anyway.
It is a great plugin I bought it already, however i was not able to configure parameters of the plugin for automation. Thats very unfortunate though. It would be for example great if we could automate the octaves or other parameters inside the plugin inside ableton.
True. Can't you just automate from which track you play? Having 9 different channels is quite a lot so you might just switch between two tracks with the different qualities you aim for in your automation?
Great if you don't mind that every chord in your progression has to fall on the first beat of the bar and that one is unable to alter any of the chords to play rhythmically without doing it manually in the piano roll after exporting the midi.
Actually, you can. Just go in the notes view and instead of a melody select all the notes in one column = chord. The rhythm would be simple because of the same note lengths but nevertheless.
@@KaiLabs Thanks for the help. Your video was very useful as well. I played with the program last night but tbf I didn't find it particularly user-friendly. If it had a simple rhythm function so that for example if I wanted the last chord of a progression to land on the third beat of the bar I'm sure I'd feel a lot different. I understand what you're saying but it's still a bit of a hack. Perhaps they'll look into the matter for the next upgrade.
