Andrew my dear fellow feels like it’s been AGES! Oh I would absolutely love to see this in rose and blue (kind of like 5261R but in this size) heaven on earth that would be, here’s hoping for 2025 although something tells me they need to add a bit of pizazz next year because like 90% of the range was this colour this year haha whoops! 🤣

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO
I’m in agreement with you on the water resistance but I take a stronger stance. That’s insane what they are doing! 30m water resistance is recommended to NOT swim. Just makes the watch not as cool in my opinion.
Joey firstly THANK YOU so much for watching and taking part, that means the world to me! It’s more infuriating I think that they’ve ’made their own scale’ and gone against the rest of the industry. So according to them you can go down 30m which means it’s more like 100m/10ATM rated (I’m no scientist but you get the idea) so it’s just silly I think that they aren’t clear. Customers will be confused imo.
Well interestingly our watchmakers (one of which has been in the industry 40+ years!) thought it was absolutely crazy to just change the parameters to suit themselves in trying to go ‘against the grain’ so to speak. My point in the video was some things are an industry standard for a reason. Water resistance is one of them because nobody wants a flooded £100k watch! 😭🙈😳

I totally agree that the value is absolutely wild on those. I’ve had so many of those new blue and green ones and I love them personally but all under retail because new buyers market don’t see the potential in anything like that these days. I also love the 5326G did videos on both that and the blue white gold travel time on my channel 🤝🎯🥳
They don’t but my point was if it’s Aqua in the title it needs to be able to handle a cheeky drop in the ocean! Which luckily it can but yeah I agree there are more of these at Dubai/Vegas pool parties than anywhere else 🤣
It’s the single best time to be a watch buyer in over 3 years. 30% drops pretty much across the board. Unfortunately the new models usually stay higher for the first year or so as there are lots of clients who really feel it’s a must get them first. Getting them from Patek Philippe is a dream of everyone’s but I only know a few people that do and they are all extremely wealthy (go figure!) so we like to provide a service for the collecting community who don’t have the patience for the AD route. I’ve personally sold 3 of these now. Sure I can sell one now for £5k less than the first one sold for. But the client who wanted the first one was happy he got it regardless. Not everyone is thinking these are ‘investments’ that’s a bit of a crazy term for any watch unless they are super vintage and rare or coming directly from Patek at retail and going straight in the safe.
