I have one of my uncle who bought a Splendor in 1998, and he owns it till date. I've been seeing it since I was 4 - 5 Years. I even went for rides with my uncle whenever we met each other. Now, I'm 15 years. I ride his Splendor on some empty areas, just for the sake of learning how to ride a bike and some fun as well (WARNING: We take full safety measures, and ride below 20 kmph.) Damn, still the bike starts on 1 kick 😍😍😍. The feeling of kicking a bike is more nostalgic than these modern power start buttons. My uncle claims that Splendor still returns a mileage of 65 - 70. The reliability of this Beast has been bulletproof. It never gave us trouble till now. It has maintenance close to nil. A full tank range would give about 600 kms (Approx.) The Engine is also super durable, tried and tested; So maybe that's why Hero has retained this engine. Ride is also very smooth. Still our Splendor runs like a KING on the road 👑👑👑. We are never going to sell our Splendor, as I had many childhood memories with it. Splendor is a very good choice for someone who's just learning a bike. Throttle response is also lite, which adds to your confidence while practicing. Bike is also super light, seat height is low and ground clearance is good. So go for Splendor if you are a beginner. It will return good mileage, and it will last for ages without bothering ur pocket. Go for it for sure...

Another great thing I liked about the bike is that. they have now placed the speed sensor on the rear wheel so no more faulty meter cable. and this looks really promising. it was a much needed update. They didn't mess with the design and also made it that modern. People are going to love it.

This bike is still using the same 98cc motor that Honda developed in the early 90s in Japan for the first hero honda splendor, albeit with a few changes to comply with the emission regulations. But basically it's the same motor! That's now reliable a Honda motor is. An interesting fact for you guys.

Awesome bike. Still i have 1997 model Hero Honda Splendor bike. I only do service for that 😂 ENGINE OIL, CARBURETTOR CLEANING, CHAIN CLEANING, PUNCTURE any thing i will do. Still today it will give me 65 kms mileage.

I still believe Platina 110cc is much better than HF Deluxe in this price range as it has much better ground clearance of 200mm which is best for Indian roads compared to HF Deluxe which only has 165mm ground clearance, Platina has much longer suspension travel, Platina also has Disc brake for way better stopping power, a wider & more comfortable seat with 5 gears for better top end and longer gearing , tubeless tyres for hassle free riding, much more informative console which provides all the required information like service reminder, trip meters, clock, gear position indicator, gas charged suspension at the rear and it has a simple fuel system, a carburetor which is fine even if we maintain low fuel level which is not the case with HF Deluxe. If we maintain low fuel level in HF Deluxe, the fuel pump will be damaged which is going to cost around 4 thousand rupees and the maintenance cost is lesser for Platina compared to HF Deluxe. Also, Platina has Handguards which are safe up to an extent to protect your hand just in case if someone hits you from opposite and it also has seperate Daytime LED which makes sure your headlamp bulb is safe and lasts much longer. And finally, HF Deluxe is loads of electronics which is not required for common man. Few mechanics aren't able to understand this perplexing technical stuff and I've seen people facing electronic issues with angle sensors of HF Deluxe. So Platina 110 disc is a clear winner when compared with HF Deluxe. HF Deluxe nowhere comes close to Platina 110 in terms of practical aspects and hassle-free ownership.

Bs3 model hai mere pass. 15 saal me lagbhag 02 lakh kms chal chuka hai. 02 bar engine banwa chuka hu aur abhi bhi 62kmpl ka mileage deti hai. Real Iconic bike hai for lower middle class family.

Why is the exhaust sound very harsh in hero bikes. Why is it not good like TVs or honda? I like splendor plus but disappointed with the engine sound. It is really irritating and not looking refined even after bs6.

I have seen some reviews which say that the alloys break on impect in potholes also the fiber quality where the tail light is situated is very cheap compared to older versions also it's basically a normal splendor just the graphics n display is changed n it costs 90000 on road some owners are not happy as there are problems in engine also in new models
