I was mentally coming at you full force for your arguements for not locking Brady in …. And then you added the, “he plays better with a chip on his shoulder anyway” and you won me over 😂😂😂 Most accurate thing anyone can say about the special sauce of Tommy’s outstanding career right there. Nicely played.

Ha thanks! And I’d normally be rooting 49ers to keep distance for the Pats’ dynasty but I might be shifting towards Mahomie so that this non-lock looks better. 😀

Not even mentioning Montana in the QB discussion shows your age - but it’s okay, the even older timers tell me the same thing about Unitas. Montana’s stats would be a lot better if he played under the rules of the past decade - and he was serious clutch Joe Cool. Gronk not only was a phenomenal blocker but he also could take over games and dominate the field in a way Gonzalez could not. Faulk is a good X player choice. He blends eras well too - bridging that gap between old two back/two WR offenses and today’s 3 or 4 WR sets.

Solid point on Montana (and Unitas). If I had a redo, I think I'd bump Rodgers from the QB Mount Rushmore and slot Montana in his place.
