Becky's tutorials ,not only on the AllBrands presentations, but on her RU-vid channel , are always excellent! I'm a seasoned sewer and embroiderer and machine quilter, but I still learn new things from her! Good job Becky!
Yeah, Becky is one of the best I’ve been watching her since she started your channel in January 2019. She inspired me to act on my dream of having an embroidery machine as well as acquiring a digital cutting machine. She has really enhanced my creative life!
This was a great video and easy to follow instructions. Becky, I miss These tutorials on your channel. Best wishes always. Thank you Barbara For being such a great host.😊
Hi Becky, So happy to watch a non scan n cut show! I've missed these regular shows. I want to share that I have a camera in my machine. I use the mountain type magnet hoop. I leave the hoop on the machine, pick up the magnets, turn on the camera, shift the quilt and replace the magnets. It's very quick and perfect alignment. Thanks for all you teach.
Hi Lida! Barbara Here. I also use the projector to line up my edge to edge. I do like the DIME snap hoop for edge to edge, and the sash frame for other things It's just preference I guess. Thank you for tuning in!
Hi Barb & Becky, Margaret from South Australia. First time I have managed to catch live show. Becky gives so much info and is so funny. I often have little chuckles. Thank you for all your time & work to present these videos. Keep sewing. Cheers
Thanks for that presentation I learned so much always is nice to see Becky on her excellent work thanks to all brands and Becky I’m following you on your channel by the way is addicted in a good way! Love your channel and everything you do!
Thank you Becky for all your fantastic videos. I used this same Easter bunny and egg pattern from Designs by JuJu on a quilt and wall hanging that I used with my Babylock Solaris and the DIME magnetic hoop. Magnetic hoops are the greatest invention ever.
I love doing edge to edge on my Luminaire 3 and bought the large size Dime magnetic hoop which is wonderful! I just do the 505spray…I guess I cheat since I start a 1/4” from the edge of the quilt.
I was watching your video and wondering where you are placing your sticker it didn’t look like it was at the beginning or the ending of the design. Can you explain that further?
I use a snap monster Dime 8X12 hoop . I don't use a template. I use the positioning features on my brother 6200D but sometimes I simply just drop the needle in the start stitch spot. It is easy and works well.
I make quilts for Project Linus (Sick Kids) U.K., and the majority of the time is just the quilt top and fleece backing. I have the Brother magnetic hoop, so I was hoping I can se the embroidery machine to do pretty quilt pattern. I also have the Stellaire XJ2.
I looked for your video "Background quilting for your embroidery machine" u mentioned here, but I only find is "Creating background quilting with the Brother Luminaire...". I have a Brother PE800 & am looking for background quilting instructions for that. Is that even a possibility w my machine. Thnk u!
I'm a novice and have a small sewing/embroidery machine. Singer Legacy SE300. I would like to know if any of the DIME Embroidery Hoops would work with my machine.
It's really a personal preference. Since edge-to-edge is essentially a straight stitched design (not a dense satin stitch group of stitches), you can use polyester or cotton top and bottom thread with no issues. I love Aurifil Cotton for edge-to-edge embroidery. Barbara.
I have a husqvaena Viking & it won't warrant my mCHINE IF i USE THE MONSTER HOOP/ i WAS SO SAD AS i HAD ALREADY ORDERED & REC'D IT BUT HAD TO RETURN IT UNOPENED
