This is an older video, but it's still fantastic. I say that because I'm also drawn to this video because one of the 8 .50AEs that I've bought in the past 6mo is that white matte distressed. It's my favorite pistol platform, it's big, it's American, all of mine have fantastic triggers so I think there's something wrong with this one, and it makes you feel like an action star. It's just sexy!

Hollowpoints are the wrong kind of round for going through tree's :P They will expand and stop not long after hitting the surface. Great video as always man, Love your content.

I regularly ring an 8" steel plate @100 yds with my ported 50AE Mk XIX DEagle (Mod# DE50SRMB). My optic is a SIG Sauer Romeo4S RDS on an ADM QD ultralow-mount. Has lasted over 800 rds, still going strong. I sometimes shoot it on an Atlas Bipod.😄 The ceramic coating build-up may have wrected the trigger pull. Mine measured 3lbs, 2ozs right out of the box.

Or realistically that means the gun doesn't fully use the ammo notably the gunpowder. With longer barrel the gun would mean even more business, but the point of a desert eagle is to be fun.

@@TopShotDustin You're doing well with the camera still. Have you contacted Kron Tech over that issue? I think I had the same issue and they had me send the camera back, put a new better sensor on it, I think a new main board (my camera is a prototype) (I had little fuzzy spots on some of my imagery) and they sent it back pretty quickly.

We have been emailing back and forth for weeks. They are just beginning the process of having me send it back. Since we troubleshoot everything else. But they said mine is the only camera with this issue 🤷‍♂️ Haven’t heard from them in over a week though.

So I’m looking at the slide catch on my XIX and I’m thinking about dremmeling off that corner that catches your thumb nail. I don’t think it would affect the slide stop. What do you think?

The slide stop will still function fine after that modification. My stainless/ported Mk XIX 50 AE tore half my left thumb nail back during the first range session. Stupid design. I fixed it before the 2nd range trip. One of the advantages of owning this gun in stainless. 👍

The first handgun I owned was a .380 , I had bad hand placement and the slide cam back and cut the hell out of my thumb in two nice cuts.. never did that crap again

That particular gun has a bad trigger, mine is closer to the advertised 4 pound pull and that makes it much easier to shoot.

50AE vs 429DE - The important difference is that 429DE is preferable for long range shooting. The 429DE has higher velocity & a more flat trajectory which is prefable for long range & hunting. With hand loads using hexagon projectiles the precision is fenomenal.
