I've been blessed to have met her at an event at the Natural History Museum in LA. She had full Grey hair and was suprised I recognized her.. She was kind enough to sign a piece of paper with her autograph. She signed it Bonnie of Knight Rider.. I was blown away..

@@CarlosGuzman-bq8fr No, friend. Thank you for telling me that story. I'm just a 21 year old fan, who watched the show when I was a kid. To know that she retired Broke my heart because I never knew why till now. It gives me hope to know that she still feels grateful to those who recognize her. Bonnie was the Heart of the show, in my opinion. She doesn't even seem to have contact information, so it just makes me sad with the fan made and original props I create that I can't simply point out who inspired me the most.

I was 7 when the 80's started. Nothing can top the music, movies and TV shows. Nothing can top rushing home on Saturday evenings in 85 to watch the Top20 and some of the biggest 80's hit songs being released, and also rushing home on Sunday afternoons and watching Knight Rider, and after garbing my bike and out to go hang out with my friends, jumping off ramps with my bike, pretending to ride KITT turbo-boosting over the bad guys...

Always thought "Bonnie" was a lot more credible as a computer engineer and mechanic than April. April just didn't sell the mechanic part of the role

Wasn't a huge fan of Bonnie for the first few episodes of season 1 as I thought she was a little too cold, especially towards Michael, but then she eventually warmed up. Overall I preferred Bonnie for her very clinical personality, April had more empathy as a character but felt more like the producers wanted a more feminine 'babe' to maintain KITT (Bonnie I don't recall ever seeing in a dress) An issue with April 's departure was the fact she was not referenced after she had left, even though Michael once referred to her as family.

I was pretty young, but even at the time I saw that April was intended to be a bombshell rather than a character. I didn't have the vocabulary to describe the notion then. I was glad when Bonnie came back.

@@RecklessFables But Rebecca Holden aka April was the other driver of KITT in a recent interview on RU-vid last year and she was in a Christmas parade in 2019 before the virus hit while McPherson was on C-SPAN talking about water conservation in Capitol Hill in DC on RU-vid.

Man I had a massive crush on her when I was a kid!! She was so beautiful.. I was devastated when she wasn't in the second season of Knight Rider. It was like that time they tried to replace the Duke boys in the Dukes of Hazzard. I was NOT happy! 😄😄

Just reading these comments today…. Does this woman know how much she is loved and treasured in the hearts of us fans? It would be lovely if she’d come out and do an interview. As many have said there’s not a lot of info out there on her but if she wishes to be more private then that has to be respected. But I just hope she knows how much she’s loved as much as the rest of the Knight Rider family. 👍

I've done a little bit of web searching to find that Patricia wasn't the only Knight Rider main cast member to appear in an episode of Star Trek. Peter Parros played the role of an unnamed Klingon officer in the TNG episode "A Matter of Honor". William Daniels played the voice of a computer named The Allocator in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Critical Care".

Speaking of Peter Parros, there were 2 knight rider alums who starred in 2 different revivals of classic 60s cop shows. Peter Parros starred in the new Adam-12 in 1990 while Jeffrey Osterhage starred in the revival of Dragnet, called The New Dragnet, in 1989. Osterhage is of course John Stanton from KITT vs KARR.

It would have been great to have had the two, what they could have done, with the season 3, was April contact Bonnie to help rebuild and upgrade kitt. That would have been a killer season 3. The two girls rolling out upgrades etc as the season went along.

I had no idea she'd modelled, who with? I just presumed she'd always been an actress prior to her current work. Did anyone else catch Dick Van Dyke on the commentary in that competition segment? And I've said on other videos on this channel, I feel like they should've followed up on the romance plot if they got a fifth season/after Scent of the Roses. In addition to appearing in the "Battle of the Network Stars", Patricia also appeared as herself in "Circus of the Stars #9" (1984), which is on IMDB, and "The Wildest West Show of the Stars" (1986), which is not listed on IMDB.

She became more interested of climate change of forest fires and forest its self 🔥 after that Rebecca replaced her because they wanted some one more sex appeal for the show. David Hasselhoff wasn't pleased with that and worked with the producers of rehireing Patricia back in a third season only Rebecca continued to finish the rest of the seasons... personally I think Patricia was excellent for the show great actress...

Thanks for this guys 👍 It’s really unfortunate that her IMDb profile has so many false roles. I remember being massively annoyed when I saw she was listed in Men In Black as K’s wife only to see that it was clearly not her. As for Warehouse 13… I’m a huge fan of that show by the way and when I went back through the episodes to see that she “apparently” appeared in one, it was yet more disappointment and confusion when it’s plainfully obvious that she’s not in it either 🤔

I agree I checked out the MIB connection and found a woman with a hair style with an amazing similarity to a younger Patricia McPherson, but noticeably not her. I also followed a lead suggesting William Daniels was the voice of The Allocator on Star Trek Voyager: Critical Care. My investigation involved doing the difficult task of not automatically believing what was told to me, and just watching and listening to the actual episode. It was noticeably not William Daniels. I hope my detective skills are on par with Michael Knights and are valuable to someone somewhere.

A true environmentalist. In 1983, Bonnie went to Berkeley and in between sneak KITT to Fung Restaurant to have Chinese food with Professor Halston and put the emergency button if in case KITT gets destroyed or altered. In 1987 and currently Bonnie working with the Wabacka Co 19 sickness and the CDC and to save water.

Today, "California wetlands" would be an oxymoron. Hope she's doing well for herself. What's with the intermittent grey screen blackouts in the Thom Bray clip? Actually she rebuilt KITT a total of THREE times: Knight Of The Drones, Junkyard Dog, and Knight of the Juggernaut. Loved the Family Feud episode - side by side with another gorgeous Knight Rider alum, the late, great, Phyllis Davis. A shame those two missed costarring by just one episode (Knight of the Phoenix, parts one and two).

That host was the creepiest man around. Seriously! Gives me vibes of Jimmy Savile, the disgraced and now infamous TV host from over here in the UK. He was good in The Running Man but boy oh boy does he act like a drunk lecherous creep.

Richard Dawson always tried to kiss the girls on Family Feud. That was a trademark of his, some women would turn the cheek on the last second.

@@pinball541 That's some excuse! I saw him when he had the Walton Family girls on the show and he was kissing them on the lips and heading to the little red haired girl at the end. What an excuse though. When the police catch him with his pants down he could have said "It was my trademark!"

@@ben8447- I was glad when Richard left Family Feud, I really liked when Ray Combs took over. The kissing days on Famuly Feud was over.👍
