Really good looking board and especially love that maroon/burgundy red color. If I wasn’t at my quota for how many full size boards I want to have, I’d consider this one. 💪
Good morning, Clackbro. Music choice clean + isn’t distracting like some other keyboard content creators. That storm trooper shot was cleeeaaaan. While I’m not interested in this board due to the 1u zero key, this is certainly a mid-range beauty. Extremely quick lead time, KBDFans going crazy this year. Thorough review. YESSIRRRRR, 2u zero keys is peak. Need that for my day job. Banger video, Clackbro.
I'm hoping the Cycle7 sells well in the international market (I know in China, it sold over 3k units) so they make another FRL keyboard, specifically one with a numpad like the TET. Thanks for the video and awesome work as always!
Amazing board right here but question, how are the new tx ap’s I’ve been planning to pick them up for my next board and want to know what’s your opinion on them. Also, xht still can be used for the new tighter housings or would krytox full out be fine?
I've had good success with the TX AP stabs. I only use 205g0 for the stabs, but a light coating for these in particular. A little BDZ on the wire as well. Hope that helps!
Can I just say that numpad != office keyboard? For data entry office jobs it is essential, for sure, but for other productivity apps there are other important keys. Not having an F row or functional nav cluster would set me back more than missing a numpad.
I totally agree with that. Which is why it's almost perfect. For me the 2u zero is what bothers me. I usually map a couple of F-Keys to other keys in a FRL, but I totally get it is very role/job dependent. Thanks for the feedback my friend.
1u zero is truly the weakest point of 1800s other than having the numpad where mouse goes, which makes ergonomics really awful for me. That 2u 0 is just so satisfying and doesn’t require contortion to reach
