I've always wanted to go to the French Alps and catch a carp with the Alps in the background. It was September 2022 that I finally lived that dream of carp fishing in the Alps with long-time friend Andy Maker.
To say we had a blast would be an understatement with lots of highs and lows to share out amongst us With beautiful sunshine, the best backdrops you can imagine, and the best Alpine guide Nour, from Carp Circle with us, it was going to be a trip to be remembered.
This is the second of a two-part carp fishing adventures series that is a little different from the norm in that it's quite raw and unpolished for the most part, but that just reflects the mood of the trip.
