I am of scots Irish American descent and I would rather be in Mongolia if could handle the winters. Give me a horse and wide open plains paraphrasing one Mongolian Princess telling some early western explorers she was the rich and wealthy one and it was those in the western world who were poor.
I love it. 50% of my ancestors come from Mongolia, Altai mountains. Great to see this beautiful and ancient culture is traveling the world for everyone to get a taste of it. Love you guys. One day, one day I will visit Mongolia.

@@MY-yy2ff Just a small comment as an anthropologist. Newer studies show, that indeed many native americans share a gen-group which turk ppl have too. But... the genpool was strongly devided since around 14000 years ago and not all native americans have this gen e.g. Inuits in greenland and alaska. Also native americans are not turk, because the turks are too young, they have just the same ancestors as the turks. The problem is how old are turk ppl or their ancestors? The current history just says 6. century, some say the ancient-turk come from china and from around 3. century, but the ppl who went to america traveled to america mostly around 20.000-9800 (some less evidences even say already 40.000) so before the turk even were born, the native americans where already in america. Here comes the main problem, turk, slavic, germanics and so on thats just a word, when is a turk already a turk? (Do we watch for the first word "turk" in history or for the genetic but when does genetic start or stop? Are africans turks because they are the ancestor of turks but also from every human. But then slavic and germanic ppl could say the same) When did the ancestors of turks originated? In the end a slavic or germanic or turk all can say we are brothers because we have the same african ancestors, the division between turks and lets say blue eyed, blond scandinavic or slavic was just way earlyer than with native americans and different turk-related ppl. So to sum it up, I think we are all brothers because we are one human race.

Many came from there to this part of MN because it is like Mazuria, so I have many distant cousins in the area. It's funny, because sometimes we meet and find out we're related because we recognize the sallow skin tone! It is well known in certain branches of our family - we always thought that we had Tatar blood. There are still Tatar communities in the Mazuria area. So upon further research I find one of the family coats of arms is Leliwa which is also one of the Tatars'. And I've discovered many of the foods my family made are Tatar. It could all be due to close proximity, but research indicates a strong likelihood of Tatar blood. What a mixture! Mazovian, ethnic Old Prussian, Lipka Kipchack, and probably a bit of German and Jew thrown in! Looking forward to genetic testing, and a journey home. Decades ago a cousin went - we still had relatives in Mazuria, and hopefully still do. The Russian replies aren't translating, but I just came across genetic research on the Polish, Lithuanian, and Belorussian Lipkas. They are 30 0/0 East Asian Turkic-Mongol area, and the rest West Eurasian with bits from the Caucasus. They fled to Lithuania from the Golden Horde seeking religious asylum in Pagan Lithuania, beginning in the late 1300s (or1200s - I can't remember). At first they were Tengrist, then Muslim - a more liberal version. They fought in the Battle of Grunwald near my family's home and were held in very high regard by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. If you live in Poland, you probably got this in history! So, I don't mean to put you back in school! It's just the history of the Eurasian Steppes has always intrigued me. Something in the blood. A few years ago a cousin even went to Mongolia and lived in a yurt for over a month! So, I'm looking for more input on this. В 1691г Россия и Манджурский Китай сговорившись за спиной Монголии сочинили подлый Нерченский договор и аннексировали у Монголии Алтай, Байкал, забайкалья и прибайкалья - Россия это огромная территлрия почти 2млн кв-км и Манлджурский Китай захватил Внутренную Монголию и Шинзян в результате огромная Монголия распалась.
Это калмыцкая песня о матери, поёт наш народный джангарчи Владимир Каруев, да все наши песни и танцы завораживают, но у нас это намного лучше звучит, здесь слышен только скрежет металла

I come from a family with Mongolian origins that arrived in Romania through the Russian channel. My great-great-great-great-grandparents were descendants of Batu Han, but when they migrated to Romania, they had Indo-European women, predominantly Slavic. I love this music very much.
