...it started with Adam and Eve. They chose to disobey God's instructions and follow Satan's advice and offer. At that point, until we reject that and accept that Jesus Christ came to buy us from its resulting bondage, we continue to suffer consequences of that original sin because God honors your personal choice who you want to obey.
