The Aluminum F150 Uniside!

On this episode i'm replacing a rocker section on this 2016 Ford F150. Unfortunately Ford doesn't sell just a rocker panel section so we had to purchase the entire uniside of the truck. Luckily though Ford does provide sectioning procedures to section just part of the uniside in to avoid cutting apart more of the truck than necessary. Check out how it's done!

sush he used the Harbor Freight aluminum rods and a propane torch.... heh ... yeah i would like to see the aluminum welding... i also don't get to see aluminum brazing much and would like to learn about that

So I have a question I bought a 2019 F450 that as a crushed and rocker area and I'm wondering how I can pull out this rocker assembly here it's knocked in pretty good

What if the structure behind the panel is damaged too, can you pull it or also needs cutting? Is it aluminum made too? Thank you

Did you panel bond the seams or use an aluminum welder? I did not see a welder used? I am reading the ford p pages and it says nothing about welding the seams. Please let me know. Many thanks
