4. Tsukushi no Himuka no Tachihana no Odo no Ahagi hara ni
5. Misogi harai tamou tokini narimaseru haraido no okami tachi
6. Moromoro no magagoto tsumi kegare wo
7. Harai tamae kiyome tamae to maosu kotono yoshi wo
8. Amatsu kami Kunitsu kami yaho yorozu no kami tachi tomo ni
9. Ameno fuchi koma no mimi furitatete kikoshi mese to
10. Kashikomi kashikomi mo maosu

AMATSU NORITO (Translated)
1. In the highest and holiest realm of Heaven dwell
2. The divine beings, Kamurogi and Kamuromi*. At their word,
3. Izanagi-no-mikoto, our first ancestor,
4. In the field of evergreens at the mouth of the river at Tsukushi in Tachihana in the Province of Himuka
5. Was purifying himself with water, at which time the divine spirits of purification were born.
6. Of them we ask that all evil, errors and impurities be dispelled;
7. We most humbly ask that they be dispelled and purified.
