This Nagami Kumquat tree is the oldest living specimen we have at Logee's Greenhouses. While we don't know its exact age, it is believed to have been about sixty years old when it first arrived at Logee's in the early 1930's - which means it first sprouted from a kumquat seed around the time of the U.S. Civil War! Since then, six other varieties of citrus have been grafted onto it so that it now produces seven different types of citrus at the same time.
