I cycle in to Tours Centre and I am again amazed at the amazing buildings and how immaculate everything looks, The people so happy and friendly enjoying this wonderful city. A full Tour around The Centre of Tours France.
Tours is a university town between France's Cher and Loire rivers. Once a Gallic-Roman settlement, today it's a university town and a traditional gateway for exploring the chateaux of the Loire Valley region. Major landmarks include the cathedral, Saint-Gatien, whose flamboyant Gothic facade is flanked by towers with 12th-century bases and Renaissance tops.

Hi mate we are subscribers and absolutely love your Vlogs, just a little tip Most highway Services in Spain have shower facilities and normally cost a couple of euros! Just blag youre a truck driver sometimes you have to hand your 🔑 over but there all very nice staff! Normally to help you. Most large Repsol garages have good facilities . Ask for Douche . I know this as ive been an European truck driver all my Life . Mark & Denise . Happy travels 😊

Brings back wonderful memories of our visit to Tours, alas without the Desperado methinks that the shopping list would feels that the shopping list will be incomplete without a 6 pack of Deperado included. My god ' what memories this has brought back hitchhiking as a very green 17 year old ,taking the ferry out of my home town of Hull to Rotterdam with barely enough money for food and certainly not hostels , Le Mans and tours always stayed with me and returned on my later journeys interailing , I now live in Spain but will return there very soon

Sean, nice clean town and side streets, shows they care for their town, if ur near the Vimy Ridge Cemetery, great Canadian Victory in 1917 WW1, it will bring a tear to ur eye, how long you will be in France, are u going to visit Poland, Czech Republic or Hungry, before Greece. Doesn’t it make you reflect on the poor condition and infrastructure of the UK with its appalling and dangerous slab pavements, badly marked roads, towns/cities with boarded up windows, charity shops and Costa coffee, Greggs bakery repeated everywhere with its beggars, homeless, yob culture and drug addicts.
