To answer, spoiler: The falling hand was Pomni’s hand, from the first scenes, the hands that grab her are everyone’s hands, other than Jax, Pomni seeing the funeral made her realize that if she falls, her friends are there to catch her, and if she falls too far out of reach, she will at least be remembered. Jax’s hand isn’t there because Pomni doesn’t consider him her friend. (I swear if Jaxni shippers reply to me with “she sees him as a lover” then I will delete my important apps)
