Am I the one person in this world who doesn't relate to and doesn't like Pomni ? I don't feel for her, and I sure don't feel like her. Like, running away from abstracted Kaufmo sure, of course. But giving up on Ragatha for the exit, no. But even if you excuse it, in episode 2, Ragatha is clearly shown to be upset about Pomni giving up on her for the exit, but she's still nice to her. Ragatha is giving Pomni a chance to put this behind them, to be friends with her and make up for what she did. But instead Pomni is being very dismissive of Ragatha's efforts that she doesn't have to make for her but still does. Because yeah when an AI (not real) feels bad, she comforts it and bonds with it. But when a real human is hurt, and by her own fault too, she just dismisses it and stays distant from this person who tries to give her a chance despite what she did to her. That's a bit hypocritical, isn't it ? And personally, I think that even if it's not ideal, being in the Digital Circus isn't all bad. You can do LARPing as Pomni said, except it's actually real. Your wildest fantasies can become real (actually it's realistic, not technically real, but still) in this world. I would try to not think too much about the fact that I'm stuck here forever and try to enjoy the cool adventures which could never happen in our boring real life. A bit like Ragatha, I guess. And by the way, Caine is not the one trapping people here. He tries to help the humans who are trapped here by sending them in these adventures to distract them so that they don't turn crazy, but he doesn't understand them well since he's an AI. But this issue could easily be fixed if they just told him what they want. They could just tell Caine the kinds of adventures they want in order to make them more suited to their interests and not make them crazy. We know Caine wants to help, even if he's bad at it, so he has no reason to refuse if they try to tell him what to do in order to properly help them to be happy in this place and lower the risk of abstraction.

I disagree with that they don't have a choice to go on adventures, since Zooble so effortlessly declines. I see this proving that Caine has no malicious intentions towards the cast and their feelings. A recurring theme I notice is a specific sense of empathy rather than sympathy, first with Ragatha to Pomni, and now Pomni to Gummygoo. This is an amazing element that will either make the characters stronger, or their breaking point.
