Jax knows he's stuck in a digital world, and instead of going insane trying to find a way out, he takes it as a opportunity to say or do anything he wants with no consequences. Pretty much acting like a more laid back Bugs Bunny.

So, I haven't seen anyone else point it out yet, but Caine is actually an AI native to the Digital Circus, who wants nothing more than to help these humans not go insane, & entertain some apparent audience while doing so. He's not keeping them *_hostage,_* but there really *_IS_* no way to leave. As far as I'm aware, Bubble is also an AI companion of his. I'm not sure if she existed alongside Caine, or if he created her as a co-host of sorts. The mannequins are all NPCs created by him, like the Gloink Queen was. Though they seem to be like stage hands or some sort of stand-in for inhabitants, while the Gloink Queen was only for _this_ adventure.

I like how Vanna changes her mind like multiple times while watching. Like it starts off as "Judging the looks" then goes to "Personality wise though.." Edit: Also i think Pomni has the thousand yard stare...

You'll be happy to know that, according to Gooseworx themselves, all the characters are the right age

6:32 Possibly an analogy. But I remember someone saying Gooseworx (person who basically created the series) based the story off of the book "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream". Where an artificial intelligence tortures the last 5 humans on Earth and serves as a metaphor or allegory for humanity's relationship with technology and how vulnerable we are to our own creations. And it's possible that The Amazing Digital Circus shares some of the same themes. But I'm not sure if it's entirely true if Gooseworx really based it off the story or not, since I can't remember who said it exactly. Sorry for the text dump. I just find the similarities between the two stories to be really interesting. Considering an A.I (Caine) is basically torturing a group of humans (The main cast).
