Greetings from Canada 😊 Bournemouth Parents. So, I'm Red, White and Blue! Loving the Red Arrows! Saw them fly by our home years ago for our C.N.E. Thanks for the Excellent coverage. Glad I subscribed.
I don't care what anybody says, The Red Arrows are quite simply the best aerobatics team in the world. Other countries I am sure will say otherwise E.G. Blue Angels from the US but, nah!
I am not sure whether you're aware of the intricacies of the Red Arrows? But, Red 10 (Commentator) is taught to speak like this during their training. This is so he can a) be clear and concise b) tell the audience all about the Red Arrows c) explain to those who've never seen the Red Arrows just what they're doing. The adrenaline kicks in as well when you're presenting to several thousand members of the general public. So, I'd love to see you have a go at this some time.
Just picked this up on youtube.Loved them for more years than i can remember. However very disappointed with this show. So many times the symmetry was way below usual high standard. Never seen them do such a disjointed performance. How far out of position individuals were at times.
Aerobatic Team in little toy airplanes...Nothing compared to a real Demo Team in real combat jets like the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds. Heck, even Canada's Snowbirds are better than the Broken Arrows. But, keep training and practicing, maybe one day.
The aircraft themselves don't matter, the skill of the pilots is what counts. The US teams may fly closer, but they don't do half the dynamic formation changes the Reds do in front of the crowd. I saw the Thunderbirds a few years ago and it was entirely underwhelming.
