As much as I love Hellboy and BPRD. I have gone on record multiple times in saying THIS is my favourite book he has ever published. It's beautiful, hilarious and heartfelt. Odd in a way that touches my soul and obscure enough that there is something for everyone. I have the standard HC and look forward to sharing it with my kids one day.

Screw-On Head looks like some of Mignola’s best artwork-wise, but I never got around to it by lack of a great collected edition. This seems to rectify that!

Gorgeous book. I can't wait to get my copy. Mike Mignola has commented on these... They're fiction within the Hellboy Universe. In Hellboy in Hell, there's even a character who is the author of the Screw-On Head novels (which were published in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century).

Long time Mignola fan, from early Rocket Racoon and Hulk. This is my favorite of his works. Completely bonkers, slightly whimsical, elements of the macabre. I have the original hardcover and the artist edition, I can’t wait for this new printing!

Many great selling points here - I love anthology collections, Mike Mignola’s way with words and pictures, Dark Horse production quality. Looks like a fun read!

Yep-the previous version is a standard HC. I have it on the shelf. Tempted to replace with this one now.

I have the previous hardcover but you just sold me on the update! I don’t usually double dip but with a review this good for Mignola’s self-described “favorite” work of his, I’m spending some hard earned cash. Omar rules!

Love these cloth spine hardcovers that Dark Horse puts out. They have a bunch for Geof Darrow books (Hard Boiled, The Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot, and Shaolin Cowboy) too. I'm hoping we get more books from Dark Horse in this format in the future.
