I’ve always been a Christian, but I feel like in these last few years in my teenage life, I’ve grown with the Lord 🙏 I ask for eyes to see, ears to hear, and spiritual discernment. Jesus is king 👑

Trying to stay focused reading the Bible and stay focused on God The Father 🙏Amen

My condolences to you. I'm glad you know Christ and know that He comforts you.

My condolences & so very sorry for you face this. I lost a son but as a baby. Know several who have lost children from child to adult. One couple lost 2 sons. Their only kids. One was 7 the other 19. My brother lost his only son at age 27. Cancer. A terrible journey we walk. But faith in the Lord is our comfort. Blessings your 50th anniversary will be observed & as happy as possible. Ours is Feb 2023.

So sorry Barb😢 I have had some pretty heart wrenching exchanges in the past as well. The enemy loves to cause division & strife between those we love. I had to release the hurt to Jesus as I would cling to the scripture,"Greater is HE in us than he who is in the world". 😇

This is the first thing I saw this morning! God is so good! I needed to hear this today!

The key to that Kathy is to pray ea time before reading bible asking God to open your spiritual eyes & ears, to give you wisdom, knowledge & understanding when reading His word, & the ability to apply it to your life daily. His word is alive & full of power. He can speak to you thru His words to your heart. That is a marvelous & and exciting thing WHEN He does that (& He does not everyday either)! Write down scripture that speaks to your heart & memorize those. When having a bad day...keep repeating those scriptures over n over till you feel relief. Try to live His word out in your life everyday. Also get you a Strongs Exhaughtive Concordance & Dictionary. Pick out words & look them up & study them just like you would if you were in school. You will be surprised how much you will learn in a yr & also how much closer to Johovah God you will get. I wish you much success in your studies & you will be one blessed lady/girl. Kathy, please God help Kathy realise that she doesn't have a hard heart otherwise she would not be seeking you. I was concerned that following failing God He was so angry with me, but He reassured me that He loves me still and will never forsake me. Reassure Kathy hat you love her and will never leave her either. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

I always pray the minute I know of a need. I prayed for you. The world is hard not we who seek the Lord. I try to separate myself from the world. I ask God to bless everyone I meet. You should see the reactions I get. Some people stop and think about it. I have only been able to ask one person if I could pray for them. She really needed prayer. I try to do the commission that our Lord Jesus told us. Pray about everything. I talk to God and Jesus and I tell the Holy Spirit to lead me to do right.

For the first 1500 years of Christianity the Bible was not easily available because the printing press did not exist and it was very expensive to have a Bible hand copied. The average person was illiterate and heard the Word of God proclaimed in the Church. Even now, there are regions of the world where people are illiterate. My grandparents did not go to school and can barely write their name. Hearing the Word and loving Jesus is enough. God says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments”. Not, “If you love me, you will memorize the Bible.” Reading the Bible helps us to know God better and helps us to become holy but there is no pop quiz on Bible verses at the gates of heaven.
