Mate you should be proud fucking top lad and awesome musician! Me and my friend were fortunate to meet him outside me of his snakeheads gigs and he was ace And was probably the best gig I’ve ever seen. What a legend

They disbanded about 3 days before their NME Awards tour. Pissed me off at the time as I only wanted to see them and Fat White Family. Then i understood. These weren’t some NME darlings, these were like us or fuck off, or we’ll fuck off anyway. Scottish nutters by spirit of Scottish bands. Sad I never got to see you boys though. Listen loads and loads. Miss you Dale

I found you via my local radio station (88.1) - they were playing Nighttime. Your sound reminds me of a fun mixture of Nick Cave, Tom Waits, and the Doors. Mix you in with a bit of Gogol Bordello and perhaps a few Johnny Cash remakes and for a pretty awesome playlist. Love it!

This is the best sound i've heard in a long time. The Doors style kind of and legendary if they a get through to the masses, UK MUSIC AT ITS BEST style, raw, energetic vibes set back on a menacing undercurrent. I love it. More More More.

Saw them last night at Jack White's amazing London show. When this lot were on I felt like I was at a school talent show...... A special needs school....... A failing special needs school. Genuinely the worst live band I've seen and the studio stuff is no better. A limb-less band with 2 carrier bags filled with squids could produce a better sound.
