One thing tasm 2 did better was the costume description with Peter giving his thoughts on them like he was writing a journal. I think insomniac did the same with the character index but I’m a sucker for cool item descriptions in games.
Costume description???? Who cares about that? I’m not thinking, " I hope the costume descriptions are on point in this game." I’m thinking, ”I hope the games is actually good." Costume descriptions are a waste of U.I.

@@stellarhyme3 it’s just nice to see hear people in that world speak about things. It’s a fun detail that can make the game a little more immersive, because in real life you’d know people would have stuff to say about things going on around them
We all know Insomniac's is better but if there's one thing I like about TASM 2 it's when you're spamming the swing button but Peter has nothing to swing on so he just said "Sometimes there's nothing to swing on in New York" or something like that
but that takes a button away from being able to do something else, in insomniacs case, the left bumper is for aiming, and i do not want that taken away. so nah i disagree.
TASM did innovative things like the 'Web rush' mode and being able to choose to swing with left hand or right hand, I wish Marvel's Spiderman had those..
Web rush is a bad idea imo. It made the web zip from buildings to buildings fells automaticly and we cant fell the momentum. But the right left swing its a good thing
Tasm 2 good things: -left right handed swing mechanics -peter have his own room -we can web shoot in air without loosing momentum Tasm 2 bad things: -graphics -lighting (sun angle) -traversal mechanic -combat mechanic -voice acting -automatic web rush -unatural side activity -manace system -news report after side activity -body physics -story -perfect dodge system -boss fight -Buildings height, crowd, and traffic density (for 2014 game) IMO
I think the camera is also a problem in tasm 2, maybe less than the first game but it's still bothering, but I disagree with you on the graphics I think they are good
@@mounircobra youre right. maybe third person over shoulder camera doesnt suit to spiderman game. it effect the field of view. good job for the current spiderman game who didnt use it anymore. about the graphic i think whats botherring me is not the texture but the color grading, that makes the ambient in the day time feels so warm and yellow. but still playable spiderman game (in that time)
@@Laila5234 stealth looks similar, zip to point, it just gives you tasm 2 vibes. It made me feel nostalgia for tasm 2 when playing Insomniacs spiderman.
I have great memories about tasm2 game, I almost installed it to play it again until I tried marvels spiderman remastered. Now im afraid to not feel the same for tasm2
that was so funny from 10:05 , you were going the opposite side of the enemy everytime when they were popping their head out of the window. at last you decided to stick to the one side and wait for the guy to catch him, xD
Disagree, I didn't like having to think about it. Maybe there should be an option to turn it on/off?? Personally I thought the best use of the second trigger was that swing boost from Spider-Man 2. That was so satisfying.
@@Nightwing-bh2tn That’s the point of web swinging, you have to think. It’s much more immersive and rewarding to calculate your swings and execute them smoothly. If you wanna truly feel like swinging, that’s a big part of it.
@@Boofus90 Nothing about the swinging in TASM2 felt rewarding at all - I have no reason to think it would work if they did it again. At the very least I hope its an optional add on for those that wanna try it
@@Nightwing-bh2tn Never said TASM2 swinging did. I’m arguing trigger swinging COMPACTED with insomniac’s swinging would feel rewarding. Mindlessly spamming the trigger buttons takes the immersion out and requires no effort to perform. The trigger swinging is also one of the few liked things about TASM2 game as well.
You can choose which side to swing from, all ya gotta do is point your left analog stick towards the left or right and he’ll attach the web to the side you point toward.
crap on TASM2 all you like , but the swinging was really fast and fun it lacked new animations and better options while in air but it's better than prev games imo

I know TASM2 was not great but I will say, I actually prefer the designs of multiple suits over insomniacs. TASM2 kept the suits simple and comic accurate and I feel like insomniac over designed a few of them, namely the scarlet spider, future foundation and iron spider suits
Yeah the weird lens on the FF suit and the unnecessary lines throughout the scarlet spider suit really bother me especially since those are two of my favorite suits
And you can drop in at any location and see what people are doing, talking about. It's insane how detailed the streets and buildings are at ground level.
The Amazing Spider-man 2 still my favourite Spider-man game. I just like the layout more and how the gameplay feels, like you actually feel like spider-man and the stealth attacks and the AI were on point.
I remember times when I loaded up tasm 2 on xbox and was taken aback by how good it looked… now several years gone by and the ps5 remastered had my mind blown again.. can’t imagine how games will look like in 5 years as the technology are advancing quicker and quicker now
Wall run was 10 times better in TASM2, too bad no one actually shows this part of the game. Especially side wall run and downward wall run, the transitions between running up/side/down were extremely smooth, 2018 game stands nowhere near it
Ngl the combat in tasm 2 and the missions as well as the other things you can do in ny are better than in insomniacs spiderman. Only someone who hasn't played tasm 2 would disagree. I say this cause I still got both
The buildings in tasm 2 game felt smaller compared to other spiderman game. And it worst when we use tasm 2 swing mechanics. The city doesnt feel alive. They should learn from gta v about how to make natural crowd and good traffic density especially when we talked about a metropolitan city

There was a "read before the movie" comic for tasm 2. If i'm not wrong his firs suit torns very bad because of a air vent fan or something like that in a fight.
Gwen really sew a new suit for peter in tasm2 movie it just that they didn't include it since they can easily put it on the script and it's such a small details to put in

The mobile version of the amazing spiderman its worse but still good and has good graphic to the story is fun Dont ask me where i got the game on android
