I do parkour, and This is what I love about parkour. You look at someone doing parkour and you ask them what they are doing... If you can catch them. You don't know how to do what they are doing or what it is called, but it looks beautiful and elegant. It is like ballet, except you do it several feet in the air facing death and asking it on a second date. You learn what it is called and ask people if they know how to do it. But no one does... So you train yourself. You find private places to practice. You have no idea how to do it, you are scared and start to question if you can do this... But then you go for it. You miss the first jump, then the second... But you make the third. So you retry. But you miss it. And you keep trying until you are bruised and tired. But you learned how to jump. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. You still have to learn how to climb and mantle and everything else under the title of parkour. But eventually you master it. You keep growing in the art, and you continue to find more people that can do parkour. You have done parkour so much that you no longer do it because o the adrenaline. You do it because you love the art. You do it now because it is what you do and it is just like walking or breathing to you. I have made my dream of this a reality. And I hope you guys do or have as well.
This video motivated me to start Parkour. It's been three months since I started. Thank you for motivating me to start Parkour with my #1 favorite superhero! *EDIT* It's been three years, and I do not regret starting this discipline as it helped my athleticism and climbing attributes. I did not start Parkour to do flips and tricks, but to learn the linear and straightforward techniques to get from point A to point B as fast as possible. My intention was not to be flashy, but to use the basic and intermediate techniques and expand them to greater feats. I am far from mastering this art, however I have come a long way in my journey. Parkour has made me observe the world in a very different way. Instead of seeing a gap as a dead end, I now see that same gap as an opportunity to jump it. Thank you, Ronnie for giving me the best reason to go outside.
How is your journey after even more years? I've started learning parkour per see this year, but I was going to a trampoline park for some more time, and also bouldering for about a year or even more, so I have not so bad of a starting point, tho ma condition really is bad after the pandemic, so climb ups for example are far away
Update: It’s been 8 years since I began parkour. Also, I have been practicing Taekwondo for 8 years. You don’t need to learn a martial art to do parkour, but it helped me out in the long run. In terms of climbing and freerunning, I do it almost effortlessly now. I still don’t do flips and tricks besides a front flip or two, but I can safely say that it feels much more natural to vault, wall kick, wall run, precision jump, etc. I hope this becomes a lesson that things take time, and if you keep at it consistently, you’ll eventually see results. I first commented on this when I was 14. Now I am 22 and about to graduate college. I am very proud of how far I’ve come 👍🏼
This video made me realize how important the right costume is. Most stunts I have already seen in other videos, but Spidey's outfit just highlights the best parts and makes him look even more agile and the movements epic :)
This spiderman right here did more jumps, acrobatics, stunts and other stuffs of the like of it way more than what the real spiderman did in the movie franchises :)
if you try this it could be your first huge mistake.. and last, however you can try to do some barrel rolls in the air, they are safer, no... but it's worth taking a look, the only bad thing is you could hurt your spine if you attempt and it could go even worse if you do it wrong, which you will ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TDp7LBw0Dfg.html 4:08
You did a super job Ronnie Street Stunts glad to see you healed and doing bigger better stuff than ever. And the filming was amazing Sky Candy Also Props Cameron Manwaring you're helping with some epic stuff.
Parkour is not doing flips and cartwheels , etc. that's free running , parkour is getting from point a to b the fastest way possible , while freerunning is usually for showing off
Considering the fact this guy doesn't have Spider-Mans abilities I think he would be an even better Spider-Man than Peter Parker. Seeing as how Peter had no prior skill and mostly relies exclusively on the abilities he gained.
I must say that the cinematography is top notch--could have been part of a movie or spin-off by the looks of the quality. Well done, man! There is beauty to movement and self-expression: with all the things going on in the world right now, what is all the fighting and violence for if not for the peace and freedom to do what you love? All I want in this life is to see people embrace the truths of our reality, our mortality, and our humanity--for everything that it is. Let us face the good and the bad, our flaws and weaknesses, so that we can properly address what needs to be done. We have long upheld a habit of dividing people and issues, and point fingers at each other, but I feel it is high time for us to recognize how all things connect in some way because it all involves the human condition. I talk about philosophy and other subjects that pertain to this endeavor. That is all, no more no less. Good day to everyone! :) May we always learn from each other, and never stop progressing.
All this was awesome and all, but that was too inefficient. He was doing tricks on straight roads and while jumping off walls. Not only that would slow him down, but it also put him in danger in case there is enemy around. Freestyle running is better suited for spiderman.
I'm pretty sure that this is free running and is supposed to depict how an actual Spiderman out of web shooters will do. Parkour is the more known term so I think this is why its called ASM Parkour.
true. a company already made half of ton of artificial spider silk in 2014. There are already web shooters that shoot string and floss, so that part's easy.
I can't stand the internet these days. Great video, not good enough for some people who just have to nitpick. What i hate is that i don't have a Movi, Red Camera or Drone. Is that what you need these days to get your video promoted around? It's just too much. There should be a new website that is like the OLD RU-vid because it's getting too studio produced.
You don't understand ...... When you're in the air you feel so good ......feeling that weird feeling on your stomach when u do a back flip ..is the best thing ever
Ady Dovlete Another reason I like parkour is because it makes me feel like an assassin. Like, even jumping off a bed. I even have a specific way to do so, just to make me feel better about doing it. I run, specifically step on the metal/wood/etc. border of the bed, and then jump forward knee first. Like, at 1:01 the way spider man makes that jump is similar to the way I like to jump off of things. I don't just jump with my body being straight. I make my body smaller and jump.
You know what would be amazing at least for me. A spiderman movie with more a grounded tone. Like adding a bit of CG to this video to make it look a bit more flashy but not by much. Putting Spider-man just above a high performance athlete. Spiderman movies rely a lot on our suspension of disbelief, I'd love to watch a spiderman movie and say, "wow this could actually happen to me". This video looks so good at certain points I felt like I was watching that movie.
the concept of the video was a cool idea but his over all parkour Technic was pretty basic and kind of corny, I've seen much much better then him can't say the video deserved as much publicity as it got i personalty think it's just because he's dressed as spooder man lol
ReESe WiFiE "Let's see you get you there and do what he just did. Until you can do that, shut up." That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. He can criticize the video as much as he'd like without having proven himself able to replicate what has been displayed in the video. Nobody needs to prove himself of anything before he has the "right" to criticize someone else. I don't think you read the last sentence, which reads: "...I personally think..." Keyword: "personally". He's not enforcing his opinions upon anyone else, and is therefore doing no harm to anyone. He is simply stating his opinions of the video. Summary: You're an idiot who, like many others, spews out complete garbage over the internet without thinking. Have a nice day, you filthy animal.
Courtney Williams loser i'm not trying to make money off my videos i upload stuff out of boredom so don't go judging a bunch of random shit i upload, idk why you're trying to defend this guy like he's your personal friend or something facts are facts he's a decent level of parkour and if you say any different then you're only bringing him down by saying he's something that he's not.
ReESe WiFiE hey idiot let me dumb down my comment for you, i see with my eye balls better people who do this run and jump stuff he only get lots of fame because spooder man outfit there much MUCH better people who do this an no get publicity they deserve. it's more then obvious i'm not a parkour guy but i'm more then sure based around what I've seen in many other video's i can say weather or not this guy is at a high level, not taking anything away from his talents i just think it's dumb that he gets publicity for a spider man outfit and not his ability's.
He does have self healing, he has a healing factor like that of wolverine's but it's way, way slower. Say he got shot but it wasn't gonna kill him it would take about two days for him to heal completely. Do some research later he does have a healing factor though.
Well, freerunning is neither. But parcour is a different kind of sport, less flips, less tricks, etc. The definition for parcour is more like to get over obstacles in the fastest but efficientest way
We all know the difference, so why keep trying to argue what is and what isn't Parkour? Also, who would want a title that says "Parkour/Freerunning/Tricking/Tumbling/Gymnastics" just because it has elements of all? David Belle even does flips sometimes and sums everything he does up as Parkour. It's a headache to have all of these different names, why not just say that flipping is a 'style' or 'type' of Parkour? Meh, just an idea. :/
Korex Gaming Yeah.... I don't know about that.... they'd have to get permission from the city or they'd be filming themselves committing a crime, namely, "Impersonating an officer of the law". And they'd have to get the cars and stuff to.... and handguns(I'm sure they're unloaded, and have safeties on and stuff) so they have to have a pretty good budget.... or just break the law.... but they wouldn't do that since they are a much bigger deal now.
