After such an amazing set of divine coincidences, it is refreshing and honorable of you to take your end of the bargain seriously...Hopefully both you and your lovely sisters reconciled somewhere in Time.
I just found this video when watching another one and decided to listen. WOW!!! AMAZING STORY!!! 1- I love accents and you both are enjoyable to listen to. 2- After watching this, I looked for more videos from Rabbi Rietti and I binge watched over 4 videos from Chazaq etc and didn't get to sleep as early or had enough as RAMBAM suggests, but was worth it. His delivery his uplighting, funny, educational, inspiring with mussar, too. I still have lots of others to watch. I wish he had his own channel. 3- I also looked up about his Father, Robert z"l and hope he did teshuva, as well with the help of his son. I found that Rabbi Rietti is a descendant of Ben Ish Chai on his Mom's side. Now I understand why Hashem would want him to be a Rabbi and teach children. 4- I realized something very interesting when Rabbi Rietti mentioned about his Hebrew birthday is 26 Adar. 26 is Sheim Havayah - Yud - Heh - Vav - Heh and also is midat ha'rachamim, so Hashem had mercy to bring you a brother and you fulfilled your promise to Hashem with "flying colors!!" Would he ever had guessed/dreamed that would become a Rabbi & Teacher??? I hope the Rabbi gets to see this comment or it can be shared with him somehow. Mindel-Gittel bas Hinda Chaya
Sorry to tell you but you are ignorant. Unfortunately many very observant orthodox Jews do not have long peyot. They maintain the minimum requirement of not cutting short the hair where peyot grow from.
