I’m using the Spektrum GPS telemetry module and my transmitter is the IX14. You can have it do just about any audio output on the flip or touch of a switch. NX series aren’t able to do the audio like the IX series can because it uses google speed which is part of the Android OS on the IX14.
Glad you liked it! First tip, don’t remove the wing stickers like I did. I later found out they were structural and prevent wing flutter. I’ve flown the 1.2 Mustang and stepping up to the V1200 will be a handful but only at low speeds IF you advance the power quickly. This plane will takeoff nicely at 30%-40% as long as you don’t rush the takeoff and gun the throttle. Once it lifts off let the nose drop a bit just to establish a smooth climb at your current power setting then you can gradually add some more power as needed. Once airborne it’ll fly just like the mustang but 50-60 mph faster. A lighter battery can be useful for slower approach speeds but I liked flying mine with the extra weight of the 6S 5000. Last thing, if your flying off grass you might consider just doing a belly landing with the gear up unless it’s very short grass and SMOOTH. Be prepared to bend and re bend your gear often. There are set screws in there that will back out and need to be re tightened frequently. Best of luck! Report back with your results
@@offswitch1 yeah they’ll always have some play when extended. I crashed my original because of the wing flutter. My replacement came out of the box with peeling stickers. I put a strip of clear packing tape along the entire leading edge in order to keep them from peeling back. So far it’s holding up well with a dozen flights on it.
