In this video I tried to show you all of the famous movie/cartoon (sometimes TV series) references that I have managed to find in The Amazing World of Gumball (season 1) as their tribute to cinema.
I had to change some music parts to the ones from RU-vid Audio Library so that my video wouldn't be blocked and you could watch it. Thank you for understanding.

It's great in reverse, too. I grew up in the 90's-00's and think the show is great. Especially for a supposed "kid's show". Seems like more Cartoons are more than random one offs now, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, OK KO, etc, but this is a good melding of having some story and no point at all while being loaded with references. Kinda reminds me of a kids Chuck in a way. In that they pay homage to a lot of nerd culture, most of all. Worth a watch if you haven't seen it. You can use 123movies or putlocker, idk any streaming service who currently has it up.

There's a lot of references on Gumball. After I watched 2001: A Space Oddysey I notices it have a reference on this movie too. After that I'm here. Thanks for the showing all references, I admit it there's way more than I thought but references are placed too well so its very fun to watch and understand the references.

In the episode “the secret” gumball calls darwin from a telephone booth, to try to figure out his secret. It doesn’t work, and gumball tries to destroy the phone booth. This is a reference to a scene in the movie goodfellas, where jimmy destroys a phone booth because one of his friends had died.

1. the cute face is just cus shes a bunny, a child trying to do the puppy face. 2.the fork scratching? its a noise many MANY people were cringed about. it was also sort of a popular thing. 3.the star wars phantom menace? bruh come on. this was showed way more times after/before that and gumball was relatively different to that. 4.where the wild things are. Bruh the kids scared hes gonna eat by monsters. ofcourse gumballs hiding. theres no referance in that scene. its just a coincidence. 5.final destinatiton 2 referance scene? u gotta be stupid or smtn cus that aint a referance.
