This is why I use Canada Post's Flex Delivery service for everything now. The postal persons for my apt. building (which just happens to be in London, ON as well) are total screw-ups and I have lost numerous packages due to their mistakes i.e. leaving packages (at my door) in the hallway, delivering to the apartment building across the street, etc. With Flex Delivery, have not had a package go missing yet! It goes straight to a postal pickup outlet and they send me an email when it is ready to be picked up. Safe, secure, and no worries about delivery to the wrong address and/or person.

Too the person that this package was stolen from I have a message from amazon bandit she is very sorry and extremely embarrassed . She was a crystal meth addict and is currently in a drug rehab treatment centre and is now clean and sober and totally ashamed she has made arrangements to fully reimburse the package victim for the stolen package . She hopes that to all the people who saw the video can forgive her actions made under a highly addictive substance that is becoming an epidemic problem in London . She came to the lowest of her addiction and sought out professional help to the disease of her addiction and is now a recovering addict in a live in treatment facility. She will accept the consequences of her actions when returns home to London from rehab. To her family and friends she is so so sorry and totally understands if they claim not to know her.

Here in England amazon packages are delivered to the person and not left out on porches. If the person isnt at home then its either left at the neareast Post Office or a neighbour that you've assigned. Really dont get just leaving it on the porch, waiting to get robbed.
yertoik good idea here in Canada they are suppose to do that but a lot of times leave it on my porch still if the boxes are full. I've got a good little area I live in so I've never had a problem with it so far.
