i was lucky enough last year for my 66th birthday to drive the 1966 batmobile round 3 sisters race track near wigan, a birthday gift from my daughter..

I’ve just received my 1/6 Batmobile DX by JazzInc and I would like to say the photos does no justice for this piece of ART. It is beyond fantastic.

In 1999 I went to Cape Canaveral. As we were driving up we saw the Assembly Building - for the shuttle etc to be mated to the booster rockets. The big square building with a small US flag on the corner. To give us an idea of scale the coach driver told us he could have driven his coach up one of the stripes on the flag! Later I sat in my wheelchair under a Saturn V rocket. Now that's huge!

I've seen this video 3 or 4 times now. You were so close to Gettysburg, Pa. The next time you get to the states let me know I can be your tour guide for a day or two. I'll bet you've never heard of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. If you like nature a real treat. Just watching the bald eagles fly is enough.

You aren't kidding Wayne! Wonderfest was amazing! I walked away with some more kits I don't have time to build and will go in the closet collection. But soon I'll get started on them all! LOL. Was so great getting to spend time with you and Esther again. My wife and I had a great time. So looking forward to the challenge build.

love the Bat Mobile. some cracking models in that lot, nothing like that size of show in the UK I don't think.

I wish I'd known you were going to be touring Washington DC that one day - I would've tried to meet up with you. Takes me about 2 and a half hours to drive to DC from home.

The 66 Batmobile was built by George Barris on a General Motors concept car but he took it to, for then, the extreme. Despite having a GM V8, Barris's creation was so heavy that it would only do 35 mph, which is why in the TV series if you watch carefully you will see that they had to speed the frame rate up to make it look faster!

Wayne & Mrs, so glad to hear about your trek over the Pond. I actually lived in the D.C. area for just over a decade (airline pilot, not politics) and now retired where I began, LA!

I define a diorama as 'a model placed within a realistic situation', such as the ones that recreate a photo or a movie scene. Like when you did the Orca, and the shark from Jaws with the resin tank. Is that what you plan?

not a 100% sure if you know that you can register your interest to built the batmobile 1:8 scale from eaglemoss.on a diffent note ive just got the eddie stobart moving the nation from hachettepartworks i had to get 1-22 in one go from the shop and started my collection from issue 23 onward.Plus ive not heard you say anything about the enterprise as ive not had any for 2 months as they say they are waiting for parts for issue 79. thats a bit like my fiat 126 and caravan from deagostini i should have finished that over a year ago but for covid and payment issue on their end i have 3 issue left to go. all the best wayne and keep up the good work
